1 V indicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.

Hazme justicia, oh Dios, y defiende mi causa contra una nación impía; líbrame del hombre engañoso e injusto.

2 F or you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Ya que tú eres el Dios de mi fortaleza, ¿por qué me has rechazado ? ¿Por qué ando sombrío por la opresión del enemigo ?

3 O h, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents.

Envía tu luz y tu verdad; que ellas me guíen, que me lleven a tu santo monte, y a tus moradas.

4 T hen I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.

Entonces llegaré al altar de Dios, a Dios, mi supremo gozo; y al son de la lira te alabaré, oh Dios, Dios mío.

5 W hy are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.

¿Por qué te abates, alma mía, y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios, pues he de alabarle otra vez. ¡ El es la salvación de mi ser, y mi Dios!
