1 E l Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 H abla a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: “Si alguien peca inadvertidamente en cualquiera de las cosas que el Señor ha mandado que no se hagan, y hace alguna de ellas;

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any one shall sin unwittingly, in any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and shall do any one of them:

3 s i el que peca es el sacerdote ungido, trayendo culpa sobre el pueblo, que entonces ofrezca al Señor un novillo sin defecto como ofrenda por el pecado, por el pecado que ha cometido.

if the anointed priest shall sin so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Jehovah for a sin-offering.

4 “ Traerá el novillo a la puerta de la tienda de reunión delante del Señor, pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del novillo y lo degollará delante del Señor.

And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah; and he shall lay his hand upon the head of the bullock, and kill the bullock before Jehovah.

5 “ Luego el sacerdote ungido tomará de la sangre del novillo y la traerá a la tienda de reunión,

And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, and bring it to the tent of meeting:

6 y el sacerdote mojará su dedo en la sangre y rociará de la sangre siete veces delante del Señor, frente al velo del santuario.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah, before the veil of the sanctuary.

7 “ El sacerdote pondrá también de esa sangre sobre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático que está en la tienda de reunión delante del Señor, y derramará toda la sangre del novillo al pie del altar del holocausto que está a la puerta de la tienda de reunión.

And the priest shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Jehovah, which is in the tent of meeting; and all the blood of the bullock shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

8 “ Y quitará toda la grasa del novillo de la ofrenda por el pecado: la grasa que cubre las entrañas, toda la grasa que está sobre las entrañas,

And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering he shall take off from it; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

9 l os dos riñones con la grasa que está sobre ellos y sobre los lomos, y el lóbulo del hígado, que quitará con los riñones

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away,

10 ( de la manera que se quita del buey del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz); y el sacerdote los quemará sobre el altar del holocausto.

as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of burnt-offering.

11 “ Pero la piel del novillo y toda su carne, con su cabeza, sus patas, sus entrañas y su estiércol,

And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung,

12 e s decir, todo el resto del novillo, lo llevará a un lugar limpio fuera del campamento, donde se echan las cenizas, y lo quemará al fuego sobre la leña; lo quemará donde se echan las cenizas.

even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall it be burnt.

13 “ Si es toda la congregación de Israel la que comete error, y el asunto pasa desapercibido a la asamblea, y hacen cualquiera de las cosas que el Señor ha mandado que no se hagan, haciéndose así culpables,

And if the whole congregation of Israel err, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

14 c uando se llegue a saber el pecado que ellos han cometido, entonces la asamblea ofrecerá un novillo del ganado como ofrenda por el pecado, y lo traerán delante de la tienda de reunión.

when the sin wherein they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bullock for a sin-offering, and bring it before the tent of meeting.

15 “ Los ancianos de la congregación pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del novillo delante del Señor, y el novillo será degollado delante del Señor.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before Jehovah; and the bullock shall be killed before Jehovah.

16 “ Entonces el sacerdote ungido traerá sangre del novillo a la tienda de reunión;

And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting:

17 m ojará el sacerdote su dedo en la sangre y la rociará siete veces delante del Señor, frente al velo.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Jehovah, before the veil.

18 “ Pondrá sangre sobre los cuernos del altar que está delante del Señor en la tienda de reunión, y derramará toda la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta de la tienda de reunión.

And he shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before Jehovah, that is in the tent of meeting; and all the blood shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

19 “ Le quitará toda la grasa y la quemará sobre el altar,

And all the fat thereof shall he take off from it, and burn it upon the altar.

20 y hará con el novillo lo mismo que hizo con el novillo de la ofrenda por el pecado; hará lo mismo con él. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por ellos, y ellos serán perdonados.

Thus shall he do with the bullock; as he did with the bullock of the sin-offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.

21 “ Sacará el novillo fuera del campamento y lo quemará como quemó el primer novillo; es la ofrenda por el pecado de la asamblea.

And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock: it is the sin-offering for the assembly.

22 “ Cuando es un jefe el que peca e inadvertidamente hace cualquiera de las cosas que el Señor su Dios ha mandado que no se hagan, haciéndose así culpable,

When a ruler sinneth, and doeth unwittingly any one of all the things which Jehovah his God hath commanded not to be done, and is guilty;

23 y se le hace saber el pecado que ha cometido, traerá como su ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto.

if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, be made known to him, he shall bring for his oblation a goat, a male without blemish.

24 “ Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo degollará en el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto delante del Señor; es una ofrenda por el pecado.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before Jehovah: it is a sin-offering.

25 “ Entonces el sacerdote tomará con su dedo de la sangre de la ofrenda por el pecado y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering.

26 “ Y quemará toda la grasa sobre el altar como en el caso de la grasa del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por él, por su pecado, y será perdonado.

And all the fat thereof shall he burn upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin, and he shall be forgiven.

27 “ Y si es alguno del pueblo el que peca inadvertidamente, haciendo cualquiera de las cosas que el Señor ha mandado que no se hagan, y se hace así culpable,

And if any one of the common people sin unwittingly, in doing any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and be guilty;

28 y se le hace saber el pecado que ha cometido, traerá como su ofrenda una cabra sin defecto por el pecado que ha cometido.

if his sin, which he hath sinned, be made known to him, then he shall bring for his oblation a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

29 “ Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda por el pecado y la degollará en el lugar del holocausto.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill the sin-offering in the place of burnt-offering.

30 “ Entonces el sacerdote tomará con su dedo de la sangre y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará todo el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and all the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.

31 “ Luego quitará toda la grasa, de la manera que se quitó la grasa del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz, y el sacerdote la quemará sobre el altar como aroma agradable para el Señor. Así hará el sacerdote expiación por él y será perdonado.

And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor unto Jehovah; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.

32 “ Pero si trae un cordero como su ofrenda por el pecado, que traiga una hembra sin defecto.

And if he bring a lamb as his oblation for a sin-offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

33 “ Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda por el pecado y la degollará como ofrenda por el pecado en el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill it for a sin-offering in the place where they kill the burnt-offering.

34 “ Entonces el sacerdote tomará con su dedo de la sangre de la ofrenda por el pecado y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará todo el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and all the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar:

35 “ Luego quitará toda la grasa de la misma manera que se quita la grasa del cordero del sacrificio de las ofrendas de paz; y el sacerdote la quemará en el altar con las ofrendas encendidas para el Señor. Así hará el sacerdote expiación por él, por el pecado que ha cometido, y será perdonado.

and all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
