1 ¡ Oh Señor, cómo se han multiplicado mis adversarios! Muchos se levantan contra mí.

Jehovah, how are mine adversaries increased! Many are they that rise up against me.

Many there are that say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah

3 M as tú, oh Señor, eres escudo en derredor mío, mi gloria, y el que levanta mi cabeza.

But thou, O Jehovah, art a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head.

4 C on mi voz clamé al Señor, y El me respondió desde su santo monte. (Selah)

I cry unto Jehovah with my voice, And he answereth me out of his holy hill. Selah

5 Y o me acosté y me dormí; desperté, pues el Señor me sostiene.

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for Jehovah sustaineth me.

6 N o temeré a los diez millares de enemigos que se han puesto en derredor contra mí.

I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people That have set themselves against me round about.

7 ¡ Levántate, Señor! ¡Sálvame, Dios mío! Porque tú hieres a todos mis enemigos en la mejilla; rompes los dientes de los impíos.

Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God: For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.
