1 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 « Habla con los hijos de Israel, y diles: “Cuando alguien, sin proponérselo, peque contra alguno de los mandamientos del Señor en cuestiones que no deben cometerse, e incurra en alguna de ellas,

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any one shall sin unwittingly, in any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and shall do any one of them:

3 s i el sacerdote ungido peca como el común del pueblo, deberá ofrecer al Señor un becerro sin defecto, como expiación por el pecado cometido.

if the anointed priest shall sin so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Jehovah for a sin-offering.

4 L levará el becerro a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión y, poniendo la mano sobre la cabeza del becerro, lo degollará delante del Señor.

And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah; and he shall lay his hand upon the head of the bullock, and kill the bullock before Jehovah.

5 E l sacerdote ungido tomará un poco de la sangre del becerro y la llevará al tabernáculo de reunión,

And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, and bring it to the tent of meeting:

6 m ojará su dedo en la sangre, y esa sangre la rociará delante del Señor siete veces, en dirección al velo del santuario.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah, before the veil of the sanctuary.

7 T ambién pondrá el sacerdote parte de esa sangre sobre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático, el cual está en el tabernáculo de reunión delante del Señor, y el resto de la sangre del becerro la derramará al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

And the priest shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Jehovah, which is in the tent of meeting; and all the blood of the bullock shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

8 P ara la expiación tomará toda la grasa del becerro, tanto la que recubre los intestinos como la que recubre las entrañas,

And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering he shall take off from it; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

9 l os dos riñones, la grasa que los recubre y la que está sobre los ijares, y junto con los riñones quitará la grasa que recubre el hígado,

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away,

10 t al y como se quita la grasa del buey del sacrificio de paz, y el sacerdote la quemará sobre el altar del holocausto.

as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of burnt-offering.

11 L a piel del becerro, con toda su carne y su cabeza, sus piernas, sus intestinos y su estiércol,

And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung,

12 e n fin, todo el becerro, lo llevará fuera del campamento hasta un lugar limpio, donde se echan las cenizas, y allí lo quemará sobre la leña encendida.

even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall it be burnt.

13 ” En caso de que toda la congregación de Israel peque contra alguno de los mandamientos del Señor e incurra en actos que no se deben cometer, y resulte culpable pero el pecado pasa inadvertido a los ojos del pueblo,

And if the whole congregation of Israel err, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

14 u na vez que el pecado cometido llegue a ser conocido la congregación deberá ofrecer como expiación un becerro, al cual lo llevarán ante el tabernáculo de reunión.

when the sin wherein they have sinned is known, then the assembly shall offer a young bullock for a sin-offering, and bring it before the tent of meeting.

15 A llí los ancianos de la congregación pondrán delante del Señor las manos sobre la cabeza del becerro, y en presencia del Señor degollarán al becerro.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before Jehovah; and the bullock shall be killed before Jehovah.

16 E l sacerdote ungido llevará al tabernáculo de reunión parte de la sangre del becerro,

And the anointed priest shall bring of the blood of the bullock to the tent of meeting:

17 m ojará su dedo en esa misma sangre, y la rociará siete veces delante del Señor, en dirección al velo.

and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Jehovah, before the veil.

18 P arte de esa sangre la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar que está en el tabernáculo de reunión, delante del Señor, y el resto de la sangre lo derramará al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

And he shall put of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before Jehovah, that is in the tent of meeting; and all the blood shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the door of the tent of meeting.

19 Y le quitará toda la grasa y la hará arder sobre el altar.

And all the fat thereof shall he take off from it, and burn it upon the altar.

20 H ará con aquel becerro lo mismo que hizo con el becerro de la expiación. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por ellos, y obtendrán el perdón.

Thus shall he do with the bullock; as he did with the bullock of the sin-offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.

21 L uego llevará el becerro fuera del campamento y lo quemará, como quemó el primer becerro. Se trata de una expiación por la congregación.

And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock: it is the sin-offering for the assembly.

22 ” Cuando un jefe peque y, sin proponérselo, infrinja alguno de los mandamientos del Señor su Dios e incurra en cosas que no se deben hacer,

When a ruler sinneth, and doeth unwittingly any one of all the things which Jehovah his God hath commanded not to be done, and is guilty;

23 t an pronto como se le haga saber que ha pecado presentará como ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto.

if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, be made known to him, he shall bring for his oblation a goat, a male without blemish.

24 P ondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo degollará delante del Señor, en donde se degüella el holocausto. Se trata de una expiación.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt-offering before Jehovah: it is a sin-offering.

25 C on su dedo, el sacerdote tomará un poco de la sangre de la expiación y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto,

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar of burnt-offering.

26 y quemará toda la grasa sobre el altar, como se quema la grasa del sacrificio de paz. Así el sacerdote hará la expiación por el pecado del jefe, y éste obtendrá el perdón.

And all the fat thereof shall he burn upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin, and he shall be forgiven.

27 ” Si alguien del pueblo, sin proponérselo, peca e infringe alguno de los mandamientos del Señor y comete cosas que no se deben hacer,

And if any one of the common people sin unwittingly, in doing any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and be guilty;

28 t an pronto como se le haga saber que ha pecado, presentará una cabra sin defecto como ofrenda por el pecado cometido.

if his sin, which he hath sinned, be made known to him, then he shall bring for his oblation a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

29 P ondrá la mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de expiación, y la degollará en el lugar del holocausto.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill the sin-offering in the place of burnt-offering.

30 L uego el sacerdote tomará con el dedo un poco de la sangre, y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará al pie del altar el resto de la sangre.

And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and all the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.

31 A l animal ofrecido el sacerdote le quitará toda la grasa, tal y como se le quita al sacrificio de paz, y la quemará sobre el altar en olor grato para el Señor. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por el infractor, y éste será perdonado.

And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savor unto Jehovah; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.

32 ” Si el infractor presenta un cordero como ofrenda por su pecado, deberá presentar una hembra sin defecto.

And if he bring a lamb as his oblation for a sin-offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

33 P ondrá la mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de expiación, y la degollará como expiación en donde se degüella el holocausto.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill it for a sin-offering in the place where they kill the burnt-offering.

34 D espués el sacerdote tomará con su dedo un poco de la sangre de la expiación, y la untará sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y luego derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering; and all the blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar:

35 A l animal ofrecido el sacerdote le quitará toda la grasa, tal y como se hace con la grasa del sacrificio de paz, y la quemará en el altar, junto con la ofrenda encendida al Señor. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por el pecado cometido, y ese hombre será perdonado.

and all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
