1 M i voz se eleva a Dios, y a El clamaré; mi voz se eleva a Dios, y El me oirá.

My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.

2 E n el día de mi angustia busqué al Señor; en la noche mi mano se extendía sin cansarse; mi alma rehusaba ser consolada.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.

3 M e acuerdo de Dios, y me siento turbado; me lamento, y mi espíritu desmaya. (Selah )

I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.

4 H as mantenido abiertos mis párpados; estoy tan turbado que no puedo hablar.

You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.

5 H e pensado en los días pasados, en los años antiguos.

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6 D e noche me acordaré de mi canción; en mi corazón meditaré; y mi espíritu inquiere.

I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:

7 ¿ Rechazará el Señor para siempre, y no mostrará más su favor ?

“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?

8 ¿ Ha cesado para siempre su misericordia ? ¿Ha terminado para siempre su promesa ?

Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?

9 ¿ Ha olvidado Dios tener piedad, o ha retirado con su ira su compasión ? (Selah)

Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.

10 E ntonces dije: Este es mi dolor: que la diestra del Altísimo ha cambiado.

Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

11 M e acordaré de las obras del Señor; ciertamente me acordaré de tus maravillas antiguas.

I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.

12 M editaré en toda tu obra, y reflexionaré en tus hechos.

I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.

13 S anto es, oh Dios, tu camino; ¿qué dios hay grande como nuestro Dios ?

Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?

14 T ú eres el Dios que hace maravillas, has hecho conocer tu poder entre los pueblos.

You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.

15 C on tu brazo has redimido a tu pueblo, a los hijos de Jacob y de José. (Selah)

You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16 L as aguas te vieron, oh Dios, te vieron las aguas y temieron, los abismos también se estremecieron.

The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.

17 D erramaron aguas las nubes, tronaron los nubarrones, también tus saetas centellearon por doquier.

The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

18 L a voz de tu trueno estaba en el torbellino, los relámpagos iluminaron al mundo, la tierra se estremeció y tembló.

The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.

19 E n el mar estaba tu camino, y tus sendas en las aguas inmensas, y no se conocieron tus huellas.

Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.

20 C omo rebaño guiaste a tu pueblo por mano de Moisés y de Aarón.

You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
