1 L os que confían en el Señor son como el monte Sion, que es inconmovible, que permanece para siempre.

Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

2 C omo los montes rodean a Jerusalén, así el Señor rodea a su pueblo desde ahora y para siempre.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

3 P ues el cetro de la impiedad no descansará sobre la tierra de los justos, para que los justos no extiendan sus manos para hacer el mal.

For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.

4 H az bien, Señor, a los buenos, y a los rectos de corazón.

Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 M as a los que se desvían por sus caminos torcidos, el Señor los llevará con los que hacen iniquidad. Paz sea sobre Israel.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
