1 H ow long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

¿Hasta cuándo, oh Señor ? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre ? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás de mí tu rostro ?

2 H ow long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

¿Hasta cuándo he de tomar consejo en mi alma, teniendo pesar en mi corazón todo el día ? ¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo se enaltecerá sobre mí?

3 C onsider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

Considera y respóndeme, oh Señor, Dios mío; ilumina mis ojos, no sea que duerma el sueño de la muerte;

4 L est mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

no sea que mi enemigo diga: Lo he vencido; y mis adversarios se regocijen cuando yo sea sacudido.

5 B ut I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

Mas yo en tu misericordia he confiado; mi corazón se regocijará en tu salvación.

6 I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Cantaré al Señor, porque me ha colmado de bienes.
