1 A nd he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there who had his hand withered.

Otra vez entró Jesús en una sinagoga; y había allí un hombre que tenía una mano seca.

2 A nd they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

Y le observaban para ver si lo sanaba en el día de reposo, para poder acusarle.

3 A nd he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.

Y dijo al hombre que tenía la mano seca: Levántate y ponte aquí en medio.

4 A nd he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

Entonces les dijo: ¿Es lícito en el día de reposo hacer bien o hacer mal, salvar una vida o matar? Pero ellos guardaban silencio.

5 A nd when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.

Y mirándolos en torno con enojo, entristecido por la dureza de sus corazones, dijo al hombre: Extiende tu mano. Y él la extendió, y su mano quedó sana.

6 A nd the Pharisees went out, and straightway with the Herodians took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.

Pero cuando los fariseos salieron, enseguida comenzaron a tramar con los herodianos en contra de Jesús, para ver cómo podrían destruirle. Las multitudes siguen a Jesús

7 A nd Jesus with his disciples withdrew to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed; and from Judaea,

Jesús se retiró al mar con sus discípulos; y una gran multitud de Galilea le siguió; y también de Judea,

8 a nd from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came unto him.

de Jerusalén, de Idumea, del otro lado del Jordán, y de los alrededores de Tiro y Sidón; una gran multitud, que al oír todo lo que Jesús hacía, vino a El.

9 A nd he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him:

Y dijo a sus discípulos que le tuvieran lista una barca por causa de la multitud, para que no le oprimieran;

10 f or he had healed many; insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him that they might touch him.

porque había sanado a muchos, de manera que todos los que tenían aflicciones se le echaban encima para tocarle.

11 A nd the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Y siempre que los espíritus inmundos le veían, caían delante de El y gritaban, diciendo: Tú eres el Hijo de Dios.

12 A nd he charged them much that they should not make him known.

Y les advertía con insistencia que no revelaran su identidad. Designación de los doce apóstoles

13 A nd he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him.

Y subió al monte, llamó a los que El quiso, y ellos vinieron a El.

14 A nd he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

Y designó a doce, para que estuvieran con El y para enviarlos a predicar,

15 a nd to have authority to cast out demons:

y para que tuvieran autoridad de expulsar demonios.

16 a nd Simon he surnamed Peter;

Designó a los doce: Simón (a quien puso por nombre Pedro),

17 a nd James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and them he surnamed Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder:

Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y Juan hermano de Jacobo (a quienes puso por nombre Boanerges, que significa, hijos del trueno);

18 a nd Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean,

Andrés, Felipe, Bartolomé, Mateo, Tomás, Jacobo, hijo de Alfeo, Tadeo, Simón el cananita;

19 a nd Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. And he cometh into a house.

y Judas Iscariote, el que también le entregó. Jesús y Beelzebú

20 A nd the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

Jesús llegó a una casa, y la multitud se juntó de nuevo, a tal punto que ellos ni siquiera podían comer.

21 A nd when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

Cuando sus parientes oyeron esto, fueron para hacerse cargo de El, porque decían: Está fuera de sí.

22 A nd the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and, By the prince of the demons casteth he out the demons.

Y los escribas que habían descendido de Jerusalén decían: Tiene a Beelzebú; y: Expulsa los demonios por el príncipe de los demonios.

23 A nd he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

Y llamándolos junto a sí, les hablaba en parábolas: ¿Cómo puede Satanás expulsar a Satanás ?

24 A nd if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Y si un reino está dividido contra sí mismo, ese reino no puede perdurar.

25 A nd if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

Y si una casa está dividida contra sí misma, esa casa no podrá permanecer.

26 A nd if Satan hath rise up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

Y si Satanás se ha levantado contra sí mismo y está dividido, no puede permanecer, sino que ha llegado su fin.

27 B ut no one can enter into the house of the strong man, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

Pero nadie puede entrar en la casa de un hombre fuerte y saquear sus bienes si primero no lo ata; entonces podrá saquear su casa.

28 V erily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

En verdad os digo que todos los pecados serán perdonados a los hijos de los hombres, y las blasfemias con que blasfemen,

29 b ut whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin:

pero cualquiera que blasfeme contra el Espíritu Santo no tiene jamás perdón, sino que es culpable de pecado eterno.

30 b ecause they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Porque decían: Tiene un espíritu inmundo. La madre y los hermanos de Jesús

31 A nd there come his mother and his brethren; and, standing without, they sent unto him, calling him.

Entonces llegaron su madre y sus hermanos, y quedándose afuera, mandaron llamarle.

32 A nd a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.

Y había una multitud sentada alrededor de El, y le dijeron: He aquí, tu madre y tus hermanos están afuera y te buscan.

33 A nd he answereth them, and saith, Who is my mother and my brethren?

Respondiéndoles El, dijo: ¿Quiénes son mi madre y mis hermanos?

34 A nd looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren!

Y mirando en torno a los que estaban sentados en círculo, a su alrededor, dijo: He aquí mi madre y mis hermanos.

35 F or whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Porque cualquiera que hace la voluntad de Dios, ése es mi hermano y hermana y madre.
