1 H ow long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

¿Hasta cuándo, Jehová? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás tu rostro de mí?

2 H ow long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

¿Hasta cuándo pondré consejos en mi alma, Con tristezas en mi corazón cada día? ¿Hasta cuándo será enaltecido mi enemigo sobre mí?

3 C onsider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

Mira, respóndeme, oh Jehová Dios mío; Alumbra mis ojos, para que no duerma de muerte;

4 L est mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

Para que no diga mi enemigo: Lo vencí. Mis enemigos se alegrarían, si yo resbalara.

5 B ut I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

Mas yo en tu misericordia he confiado; Mi corazón se alegrará en tu salvación.

6 I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Cantaré a Jehová, Porque me ha hecho bien.
