1 N ot unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.

No a nosotros, Señor, no a nosotros, sino a tu nombre da gloria, por tu misericordia, por tu fidelidad.

2 W herefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?

¿Por qué han de decir las naciones: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios ?

3 B ut our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.

Nuestro Dios está en los cielos; El hace lo que le place.

4 T heir idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

Los ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombre.

5 T hey have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;

Tienen boca, y no hablan; tienen ojos, y no ven;

6 T hey have ears, but they hear not; Noses have they, but they smell not;

tienen oídos, y no oyen; tienen nariz, y no huelen;

7 T hey have hands, but they handle not; Feet have they, but they walk not; Neither speak they through their throat.

tienen manos, y no palpan; tienen pies, y no caminan; no emiten sonido alguno con su garganta.

8 T hey that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

Se volverán como ellos, los que los hacen, y todos los que en ellos confían.

9 O Israel, trust thou in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

Oh Israel, confía en el Señor; El es tu ayuda y tu escudo.

10 O house of Aaron, trust ye in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

Oh casa de Aarón, confiad en el Señor; El es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

11 Y e that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

Los que teméis al Señor, confiad en el Señor; El es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

12 J ehovah hath been mindful of us; he will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

El Señor se ha acordado de nosotros; El nos bendecirá; bendecirá a la casa de Israel; bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

13 H e will bless them that fear Jehovah, Both small and great.

El bendecirá a los que temen al Señor, tanto a pequeños como a grandes.

14 J ehovah increase you more and more, You and your children.

El Señor os prospere, a vosotros y a vuestros hijos.

15 B lessed are ye of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.

Benditos seáis del Señor, que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

16 T he heavens are the heavens of Jehovah; But the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Los cielos son los cielos del Señor; pero la tierra la ha dado a los hijos de los hombres.

17 T he dead praise not Jehovah, Neither any that go down into silence;

Los muertos no alaban al Señor, ni ninguno de los que descienden al silencio.

18 B ut we will bless Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore. Praise ye Jehovah.

Pero nosotros bendeciremos al Señor desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Aleluya!
