Yo me alegré cuando me dijeron: Vamos a la casa del Señor.

Plantados están nuestros pies dentro de tus puertas, oh Jerusalén.

Jerusalén, que está edificada como ciudad compacta, bien unida,

4 W hither the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah, For an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

a la cual suben las tribus, las tribus del Señor, ( lo cual es ordenanza para Israel) para alabar el nombre del Señor.

5 F or there are set thrones for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.

Porque allí se establecieron tronos para juicio, los tronos de la casa de David.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee.

Orad por la paz de Jerusalén: Sean prosperados los que te aman.

7 P eace be within thy walls, And prosperity within thy palaces.

Haya paz dentro de tus muros, y prosperidad en tus palacios.

8 F or my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Por amor de mis hermanos y de mis amigos diré ahora: Sea la paz en ti.

9 F or the sake of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

Por amor de la casa del Señor nuestro Dios procuraré tu bien.
