Canten con gozo a Dios, fortaleza nuestra; Aclamen con júbilo al Dios de Jacob.

2 R aise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

Entonen canto de alabanza, y toquen el pandero, La melodiosa lira con el arpa.

3 B low the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

Toquen la trompeta en la luna nueva, En la luna llena, en el día de nuestra fiesta.

4 F or it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

Porque es estatuto para Israel, Ordenanza del Dios de Jacob.

10 I am Yahweh, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Yo, el Señor, soy tu Dios, Que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto; Abre bien tu boca y la llenaré.

11 B ut my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.

Pero Mi pueblo no escuchó Mi voz; Israel no Me obedeció.

12 S o I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

14 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
