1 T he Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.

2 O ut of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.

6 T he heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.

7 “ Hear, my people, and I will speak; Israel, and I will testify against you. I am God, your God.

“Oye, pueblo Mío, y hablaré; Israel, Yo testificaré contra ti. Yo soy Dios, tu Dios.

8 I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.

No te reprendo por tus sacrificios, Ni por tus holocaustos, que están continuamente delante de Mí.

9 I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.

No tomaré novillo de tu casa, Ni machos cabríos de tus corrales.

10 F or every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.

Porque Mío es todo animal del bosque, Y el ganado sobre mil colinas.

11 I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.

Conozco a todas las aves de los montes, Y Mío es todo lo que en el campo se mueve.

12 I f I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

Si Yo tuviera hambre, no te lo diría a ti; Porque Mío es el mundo y todo lo que en él hay.

13 W ill I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

¿ Acaso he de comer carne de toros, O beber sangre de machos cabríos?

14 O ffer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.

Ofrece a Dios sacrificio de acción de gracias, Y cumple tus votos al Altísimo.

15 C all on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Invoca Mi nombre en el día de la angustia; Yo te libraré, y tú Me honrarás.”

16 B ut to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,

Pero al impío Dios le dice: “¿Qué derecho tienes tú de hablar de Mis estatutos, Y de tomar Mi pacto en tus labios ?

17 s ince you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?

Porque tú aborreces la disciplina, Y a tus espaldas echas Mis palabras.

18 W hen you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.

Cuando ves a un ladrón, te complaces con él, Y con adúlteros te asocias.

19 “ You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.

Das rienda suelta a tu boca para el mal, Y tu lengua trama engaño.

20 Y ou sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.

Te sientas y hablas contra tu hermano; Al hijo de tu propia madre calumnias.

21 Y ou have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.

Estas cosas has hecho, y Yo he guardado silencio; Pensaste que Yo era tal como tú; Pero te reprenderé, y delante de tus ojos expondré tus delitos.

22 “ Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.

Entiendan ahora esto ustedes, los que se olvidan de Dios, No sea que los despedace, y no haya quien los libre.

23 W hoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”

El que ofrece sacrificio de acción de gracias Me honra; Y al que ordena bien su camino, Le mostraré la salvación de Dios.”
