1 L o, mine eye hath seen all this, Mine ear hath heard and understood it.

10 H e will surely reprove you If ye do secretly show partiality.

11 S hall not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall upon you?

¿No los llenará de temor Su majestad, Y no caerá sobre ustedes Su terror ?

12 Y our memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, Your defences are defences of clay.

13 H old your peace, let me alone, that I may speak; And let come on me what will.

21 W ithdraw thy hand far from me; And let not thy terror make me afraid.

22 T hen call thou, and I will answer; Or let me speak, and answer thou me.

Entonces llámame, y yo responderé; O déjame hablar, y respóndeme Tú.

23 H ow many are mine iniquities and sins? Make me to know my transgression and my sin.

¿Cuántas son mis iniquidades y pecados? Hazme conocer mi rebelión y mi pecado.

24 W herefore hidest thou thy face, And holdest me for thine enemy?

¿Por qué escondes Tu rostro Y me consideras Tu enemigo ?

25 W ilt thou harass a driven leaf? And wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

¿Harás que tiemble una hoja llevada por el viento, O perseguirás a la paja seca?

26 F or thou writest bitter things against me, And makest me to inherit the iniquities of my youth:

Pues escribes contra mí cosas amargas, Y me haces responsable de las iniquidades de mi juventud.

27 T hou puttest my feet also in the stocks, And markest all my paths; Thou settest a bound to the soles of my feet:

28 T hough I am like a rotten thing that consumeth, Like a garment that is moth-eaten.
