1 I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises.

La misericordia y la justicia cantaré; A Ti, oh Señor, cantaré alabanzas.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Prestaré atención al camino de integridad. ¿Cuándo vendrás, Señor, a mí? En la integridad de mi corazón andaré dentro de mi casa.

3 I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

No pondré cosa indigna delante de mis ojos; Aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían; No se aferrará a mí.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

El corazón perverso se alejará de mí; No conoceré maldad.

5 W hoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

Destruiré al que en secreto calumnia a su prójimo; No toleraré al de ojos altaneros y de corazón arrogante.

6 M ine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.

Mis ojos estarán sobre los fieles de la tierra, para que moren conmigo; El que anda en camino de integridad me servirá.

7 H e that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

El que practica el engaño no morará en mi casa; El que habla mentiras no permanecerá en mi presencia.

8 M orning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

Cada mañana destruiré a todos los impíos de la tierra, Para exterminar de la ciudad del Señor a todos los que hacen iniquidad.
