1 P raise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise him, O ye servants of Jehovah,

2 Y e that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

Los que están en la casa del Señor, En los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.

3 P raise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

¡Aleluya! Porque el Señor es bueno; Canten alabanzas a Su nombre, porque es agradable.

4 F or Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

Porque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí, A Israel para posesión Suya.

5 F or I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

Porque yo sé que el Señor es grande, Y que nuestro Señor está sobre todos los dioses.

6 W hatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

Todo cuanto el Señor quiere, lo hace, En los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.

7 W ho causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

El hace subir las nubes desde los extremos de la tierra, Hace los relámpagos para la lluvia Y saca el viento de Sus depósitos.

8 W ho smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

Hirió a los primogénitos de Egipto, Tanto de hombre como de animal.

9 W ho sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

Envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, oh Egipto, Sobre Faraón y todos sus siervos.

10 W ho smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

Hirió a muchas naciones Y mató a reyes poderosos;

11 S ihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

A Sehón, rey de los Amorreos, A Og, rey de Basán, Y a todos los reinos de Canaán;

12 A nd gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.

Y dio sus tierras en herencia, En herencia a Israel Su pueblo.

13 T hy name, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Thy memorial name, O Jehovah, throughout all generations.

Tu nombre, Señor, es eterno; Tu memoria, Señor, por todas las generaciones.

14 F or Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.

Porque el Señor juzgará a Su pueblo, Y tendrá compasión de Sus siervos.

15 T he idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

Los ídolos de las naciones son plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre.

16 T hey have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;

Tienen boca, y no hablan; Tienen ojos, y no ven;

17 T hey have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.

Tienen oídos, y no oyen; Tampoco hay aliento en su boca.

18 T hey that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

Los que los hacen serán semejantes a ellos, Sí, todos los que en ellos confían.

19 O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:

Oh casa de Israel, bendigan ustedes al Señor; Oh casa de Aarón, bendigan al Señor;

20 O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.

Oh casa de Leví, bendigan al Señor; Los que temen al Señor, bendigan al Señor.

21 B lessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.

Bendito desde Sion sea el Señor, Que mora en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!
