1 A nd when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Pasado el día de reposo, María Magdalena, María, la madre de Jacobo (Santiago), y Salomé, compraron especias aromáticas para ir a ungir el cuerpo de Jesús.

2 A nd very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.

Muy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, llegaron al sepulcro cuando el sol ya había salido.

3 A nd they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

Y se decían unas a otras: “¿Quién nos removerá la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro ?”

4 a nd looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.

Cuando levantaron los ojos, vieron que la piedra, aunque era sumamente grande, había sido removida.

5 A nd entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.

Entrando en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado al lado derecho, vestido con ropaje blanco; y ellas se asustaron.

6 A nd he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

Pero él les dijo: “No se asusten; ustedes buscan a Jesús el Nazareno, el que fue crucificado. Ha resucitado, no está aquí; miren el lugar donde Lo pusieron.

7 B ut go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Pero vayan, digan a Sus discípulos y a Pedro: ‘El va delante de ustedes a Galilea; allí Lo verán, tal como les dijo.’”

8 A nd they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

Y saliendo ellas, huyeron del sepulcro, porque un gran temblor y espanto se había apoderado de ellas; y no dijeron nada a nadie porque tenían miedo. Aparición de Jesús a María Magdalena

9 N ow when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

Después de haber resucitado, muy temprano el primer día de la semana, Jesús se apareció primero a María Magdalena, de la que había echado fuera siete demonios.

10 S he went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

Y ella fue y se lo comunicó a los que habían estado con El, que estaban lamentándose y llorando.

11 A nd they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.

Cuando ellos oyeron que Jesús estaba vivo y que ella Lo había visto, se negaron a creerlo. Aparición a Dos Discípulos

12 A nd after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

Después de esto, Jesús se apareció en forma distinta a dos de ellos cuando iban de camino al campo.

13 A nd they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

Y éstos fueron y se lo comunicaron a los demás, pero a ellos tampoco les creyeron. La Gran Comisión

14 A nd afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

Después Jesús se apareció a los once discípulos cuando estaban sentados a la mesa, y los reprendió por su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que Lo habían visto resucitado.

15 A nd he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

Y les dijo: “Vayan por todo el mundo y prediquen el evangelio a toda criatura.

16 H e that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

El que crea y sea bautizado será salvo; pero el que no crea será condenado.

17 A nd these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

Y estas señales acompañarán a los que han creído: en Mi nombre echarán fuera demonios, hablarán en nuevas lenguas;

18 t hey shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

tomarán serpientes en las manos, y aunque beban algo mortífero, no les hará daño; sobre los enfermos pondrán las manos, y se pondrán bien.” Ascensión de Jesucristo

19 S o then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Entonces, el Señor Jesús, después de hablar con ellos, fue recibido en el cielo y se sentó a la diestra de Dios.

20 A nd they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

Y ellos salieron y predicaron por todas partes, colaborando el Señor con ellos, y confirmando la palabra por medio de las señales que la seguían. Ellas comunicaron inmediatamente a Pedro y a sus compañeros todas estas instrucciones. Y después de esto, Jesús mismo envió por medio de ellos, desde el oriente hasta el occidente, el mensaje sacrosanto e incorruptible de la salvación eterna.
