1 A nd they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.

El arca de Dios la trajeron y la colocaron en medio de la tienda que David había levantado para ella, y ofrecieron holocaustos y ofrendas de paz delante de Dios.

2 A nd when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.

Cuando David terminó de ofrecer el holocausto y las ofrendas de paz, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre del Señor.

3 A nd he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of flesh, and a cake of raisins.

Y repartió a todos en Israel, tanto hombre como mujer, a cada uno una torta de pan, una porción de carne y una torta de pasas.

4 A nd he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Jehovah, the God of Israel:

Designó a algunos Levitas como ministros delante del arca del Señor, para que celebraran, dieran gracias y alabaran al Señor, Dios de Israel:

5 A saph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

Asaf el jefe, y segundo después de él, Zacarías; después Jeiel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Matatías, Eliab, Benaía, Obed Edom y Jeiel, con instrumentos musicales, arpas, liras. También Asaf tocaba címbalos muy resonantes,

6 a nd Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

y los sacerdotes Benaía y Jahaziel tocaban trompetas continuamente delante del arca del pacto de Dios. Salmo de Acción de Gracias

7 T hen on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto Jehovah, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Entonces en aquel día David, por primera vez, puso en manos de Asaf y sus parientes este salmo para dar gracias al Señor:

8 O give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his doings among the peoples.

Den gracias al Señor, invoquen Su nombre; Den a conocer Sus obras entre los pueblos.

9 S ing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvellous works.

Cántenle, cántenle alabanzas; Hablen de todas Sus maravillas.

10 G lory ye in his holy name; Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

Gloríense en Su santo nombre; Alégrese el corazón de los que buscan al Señor.

11 S eek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.

Busquen al Señor y Su fortaleza; Busquen Su rostro continuamente.

12 R emember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

Recuerden las maravillas que El ha hecho, Sus prodigios y los juicios de Su boca,

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

Oh simiente de Israel, Su siervo, Hijos de Jacob, Sus escogidos.

14 H e is Jehovah our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

El es el Señor nuestro Dios; Sus juicios están en toda la tierra.

15 R emember his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

Acuérdense de Su pacto para siempre, De la palabra que ordenó a mil generaciones,

16 T he covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,

Del pacto que hizo con Abraham, Y de Su juramento a Isaac.”

17 A nd confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

También lo confirmó a Jacob por estatuto, A Israel como pacto eterno,

18 S aying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;

Diciendo: “A ti te daré la tierra de Canaán Como porción de la heredad de ustedes.”

19 W hen ye were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it;

Cuando eran pocos en número, Muy pocos, y extranjeros en ella,

20 A nd they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.

Y vagaban de nación en nación Y de un reino a otro pueblo,

21 H e suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

El no permitió que nadie los oprimiera, Y por amor a ellos reprendió a reyes, diciendo:

22 S aying, Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

“No toquen a Mis ungidos, Ni hagan mal a Mis profetas.”

23 S ing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Show forth his salvation from day to day.

Canten al Señor, toda la tierra; Proclamen de día en día las buenas nuevas de Su salvación.

24 D eclare his glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.

Cuenten Su gloria entre las naciones, Sus maravillas entre todos los pueblos.

25 F or great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods.

Porque grande es el Señor, y muy digno de ser alabado; Temible es El también sobre todos los dioses.

26 F or all the gods of the peoples are idols: But Jehovah made the heavens.

Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos son ídolos, Mas el Señor hizo los cielos.

27 H onor and majesty are before him: Strength and gladness are in his place.

Gloria y majestad están delante de El; Poder y alegría en Su morada.

28 A scribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength;

Tributen al Señor, oh familias de los pueblos, Tributen al Señor gloria y poder.

29 A scribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy array.

Tributen al Señor la gloria debida a Su nombre; Traigan ofrenda, y vengan delante de El; Adoren al Señor en la majestad de la santidad.

30 T remble before him, all the earth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved.

Tiemblen ante Su presencia, toda la tierra; Ciertamente el mundo está bien afirmado, será inconmovible.

31 L et the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth.

Alégrense los cielos y regocíjese la tierra; Y digan entre las naciones: “El Señor reina.”

32 L et the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein;

Ruja el mar y cuanto contiene; Regocíjese el campo y todo lo que en él hay.

33 T hen shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before Jehovah; For he cometh to judge the earth.

Entonces los árboles del bosque cantarán con gozo delante del Señor; Porque viene a juzgar la tierra.

34 O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

Den gracias al Señor, porque El es bueno; Porque para siempre es Su misericordia.

35 A nd say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us together and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.

Entonces digan: “Sálvanos, oh Dios de nuestra salvación, Y júntanos y líbranos de las naciones, Para que demos gracias a Tu santo nombre, Y nos gloriemos en Tu alabanza.”

36 B lessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.

Bendito sea el Señor, Dios de Israel, Desde la eternidad hasta la eternidad. Entonces todo el pueblo dijo: “Amén;” y alabó al Señor.

37 S o he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;

Y David dejó allí, delante del arca del pacto del Señor, a Asaf y a sus parientes para ministrar continuamente delante del arca, según demandaba el trabajo de cada día.

38 a nd Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

También dejó como porteros a Obed Edom con sus sesenta y ocho parientes, a Obed Edom, también hijo de Jedutún, y a Hosa.

39 a nd Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place that was at Gibeon,

David dejó a Sadoc el sacerdote y a sus parientes los sacerdotes delante del tabernáculo del Señor en el lugar alto que estaba en Gabaón,

40 t o offer burnt-offerings unto Jehovah upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Jehovah, which he commanded unto Israel;

para ofrecer continuamente holocaustos al Señor sobre el altar del holocausto, por la mañana y por la noche, conforme a todo lo que está escrito en la ley del Señor, que El ordenó a Israel.

41 a nd with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

Con ellos estaban Hemán y Jedutún, y los demás que fueron escogidos, que fueron designados por nombre, para dar gracias al Señor, porque para siempre es Su misericordia.

42 a nd with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

Y con ellos estaban Hemán y Jedutún con trompetas y címbalos para los que harían resonancia, y con instrumentos para los cánticos de Dios, y designó a los hijos de Jedutún como porteros.

43 A nd all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

Entonces todo el pueblo se fue, cada uno a su casa, y David se volvió para bendecir su casa.
