1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

El Señor dijo a Moisés:

2 M ake thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them: and thou shalt use them for the calling of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps.

“Hazte dos trompetas de plata; las harás labradas a martillo. Y te servirán para convocar a la congregación y para dar la orden de poner en marcha los campamentos.

3 A nd when they shall blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves unto thee at the door of the tent of meeting.

Cuando se toquen las dos, toda la congregación se reunirá junto a ti a la puerta de la tienda de reunión.

4 A nd if they blow but one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

Cuando se toque una sola, entonces se reunirán junto a ti los principales, los jefes de las divisiones (los millares) de Israel.

5 A nd when ye blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall take their journey.

Pero cuando ustedes toquen alarma, marcharán los que estén acampados al oriente.

6 A nd when ye blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

Y cuando toquen alarma la segunda vez, marcharán los acampados al sur; se tocará una alarma para que ellos se pongan en marcha.

7 B ut when the assembly is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

Sin embargo, cuando se convoque la asamblea, tocarán, pero no con toque de alarma.

8 A nd the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and they shall be to you for a statute for ever throughout your generations.

Además, los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas; y les será a ustedes por estatuto perpetuo por sus generaciones.

9 A nd when ye go to war in your land against the adversary that oppresseth you, then ye shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

Cuando vayan a la guerra en su tierra contra el adversario que los ataque, tocarán alarma con las trompetas a fin de que el Señor su Dios se acuerde de ustedes, y sean salvados de sus enemigos.

10 A lso in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.

Asimismo, en el día de su alegría, en sus fiestas señaladas y en el primer día de sus meses, tocarán las trompetas durante sus holocaustos y durante los sacrificios de sus ofrendas de paz; y serán para ustedes como recordatorio delante de su Dios. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.” Israel Parte del Sinaí

11 A nd it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.

En el año segundo, en el mes segundo, el día veinte del mes, la nube se levantó de sobre el tabernáculo (la morada) del testimonio;

12 A nd the children of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran.

y los Israelitas salieron, según su orden de marcha, del desierto de Sinaí. Y la nube se detuvo en el desierto de Parán.

13 A nd they first took their journey according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

Así marcharon la primera vez conforme al mandamiento del Señor por medio de Moisés.

14 A nd in the first place the standard of the camp of the children of Judah set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

La bandera del campamento de los hijos de Judá, según sus ejércitos, salió primero, con Naasón, hijo de Aminadab, al frente de su ejército;

15 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.

Natanael, hijo de Zuar, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar;

16 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.

Eliab, hijo de Helón, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón.

17 A nd the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who bare the tabernacle, set forward.

Entonces el tabernáculo fue desarmado; y los hijos de Gersón, y los hijos de Merari, que llevaban el tabernáculo, partieron.

18 A nd the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.

Después salió la bandera del campamento de Rubén, según sus ejércitos, con Elisur, hijo de Sedeur, al frente de su ejército;

19 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai, al frente del ejército de la tribu de Simeón,

20 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

y Eliasaf, hijo de Deuel, estaba al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad.

21 A nd the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the others did set up the tabernacle against their coming.

Luego se pusieron en marcha los Coatitas llevando los objetos sagrados; y el tabernáculo fue erigido antes de que ellos llegaran.

22 A nd the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.

Después salió la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Efraín, según sus ejércitos, con Elisama, hijo de Amiud, al frente de su ejército;

23 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés;

24 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

y Abidán, hijo de Gedeoni, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín.

25 A nd the standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rearward of all the camps, set forward according to their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

Después salió la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Dan, según sus ejércitos, los cuales formaban la retaguardia de todos los campamentos, con Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai, al frente de su ejército;

26 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran.

Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser;

27 A nd over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

y Ahira, hijo de Enán, al frente del ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí.

28 T hus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their hosts; and they set forward.

Este fue el orden de marcha de los Israelitas por sus ejércitos cuando partieron. La Marcha de Sinaí a Edom

29 A nd Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, We are journeying unto the place of which Jehovah said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for Jehovah hath spoken good concerning Israel.

Entonces Moisés dijo a Hobab, hijo de Reuel madianita, suegro de Moisés: “Nosotros salimos hacia el lugar del cual el Señor dijo: ‘Yo se lo daré a ustedes.’ Ven con nosotros y te haremos bien, pues el Señor ha prometido el bien a Israel.”

30 A nd he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.

Pero él le dijo: “No iré, sino que me iré a mi tierra y a mi familia.”

31 A nd he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.

Después dijo Moisés: “Te ruego que no nos dejes, puesto que tú sabes dónde debemos acampar en el desierto, y serás como ojos para nosotros.

32 A nd it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what good soever Jehovah shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.

Y será que si vienes con nosotros, el bien que el Señor nos haga, te haremos nosotros.”

33 A nd they set forward from the mount of Jehovah three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting-place for them.

Así partieron desde el monte del Señor tres días de camino, y el arca del pacto del Señor iba delante de ellos por los tres días, buscándoles un lugar dónde descansar.

34 A nd the cloud of Jehovah was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.

La nube del Señor iba sobre ellos de día desde que partieron del campamento.

35 A nd it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, O Jehovah, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.

Y sucedía que cuando el arca se ponía en marcha, Moisés decía: “¡Levántate, oh Señor! Y sean dispersados Tus enemigos, Huyan de Tu presencia los que Te aborrecen.”

36 A nd when it rested, he said, Return, O Jehovah, unto the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.

Y cuando el arca descansaba, él decía: “Vuelve, oh Señor, A los millares de millares de Israel.”
