1 A nd they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.

Así trajeron el arca de Dios, y la pusieron en medio de la tienda que David había levantado para ella; y ofrecieron holocaustos y sacrificios de paz delante de Dios.

2 A nd when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.

Y cuando David acabó de ofrecer el holocausto y los sacrificios de paz, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová.

3 A nd he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of flesh, and a cake of raisins.

Y repartió a todo Israel, así a hombres como a mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, una pieza de carne, y una torta de pasas.

4 A nd he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Jehovah, the God of Israel:

Y puso delante del arca de Jehová ministros de los levitas, para que recordasen y confesasen y loasen a Jehová Dios de Israel:

5 A saph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

Asaf el primero; el segundo después de él, Zacarías; Jeiel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Matatías, Eliab, Benaía, Obed-edom y Jeiel, con sus instrumentos de salterios y arpas; pero Asaf sonaba los címbalos.

6 a nd Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

También los sacerdotes Benaía y Jahaziel sonaban continuamente las trompetas delante del arca del pacto de Dios. Salmo de acción de gracias de David (Sal. 105. 1-15; 96. 1-13; 106. 47-48)

7 T hen on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto Jehovah, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Entonces, en aquel día, David comenzó a aclamar a Jehová por mano de Asaf y de sus hermanos:

8 O give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his doings among the peoples.

Alabad a Jehová, invocad su nombre, Dad a conocer en los pueblos sus obras.

9 S ing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvellous works.

Cantad a él, cantadle salmos; Hablad de todas sus maravillas.

10 G lory ye in his holy name; Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

Gloriaos en su santo nombre; Alégrese el corazón de los que buscan a Jehová.

11 S eek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.

Buscad a Jehová y su poder; Buscad su rostro continuamente.

12 R emember his marvellous works that he hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

Haced memoria de las maravillas que ha hecho, De sus prodigios, y de los juicios de su boca,

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

Oh vosotros, hijos de Israel su siervo, Hijos de Jacob, sus escogidos.

14 H e is Jehovah our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

Jehová, él es nuestro Dios; Sus juicios están en toda la tierra.

15 R emember his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

El hace memoria de su pacto perpetuamente, Y de la palabra que él mandó para mil generaciones;

16 T he covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac,

Del pacto que concertó con Abraham, Y de su juramento a Isaac;

17 A nd confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

El cual confirmó a Jacob por estatuto, Y a Israel por pacto sempiterno,

18 S aying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;

Diciendo: A ti daré la tierra de Canaán, Porción de tu heredad.

19 W hen ye were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it;

Cuando ellos eran pocos en número, Pocos y forasteros en ella,

20 A nd they went about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.

Y andaban de nación en nación, Y de un reino a otro pueblo,

21 H e suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

No permitió que nadie los oprimiese; Antes por amor de ellos castigó a los reyes.

22 S aying, Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

No toquéis, dijo, a mis ungidos, Ni hagáis mal a mis profetas.

23 S ing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Show forth his salvation from day to day.

Cantad a Jehová toda la tierra, Proclamad de día en día su salvación.

24 D eclare his glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.

Cantad entre las gentes su gloria, Y en todos los pueblos sus maravillas.

25 F or great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods.

Porque grande es Jehová, y digno de suprema alabanza, Y de ser temido sobre todos los dioses.

26 F or all the gods of the peoples are idols: But Jehovah made the heavens.

Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos son ídolos; Mas Jehová hizo los cielos.

27 H onor and majesty are before him: Strength and gladness are in his place.

Alabanza y magnificencia delante de él; Poder y alegría en su morada.

28 A scribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples, Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength;

Tributad a Jehová, oh familias de los pueblos, Dad a Jehová gloria y poder.

29 A scribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy array.

Dad a Jehová la honra debida a su nombre; Traed ofrenda, y venid delante de él; Postraos delante de Jehová en la hermosura de la santidad.

30 T remble before him, all the earth: The world also is established that it cannot be moved.

Temed en su presencia, toda la tierra; El mundo será aún establecido, para que no se conmueva.

31 L et the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth.

Alégrense los cielos, y gócese la tierra, Y digan en las naciones: Jehová reina.

32 L et the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein;

Resuene el mar, y su plenitud; Alégrese el campo, y todo lo que contiene.

33 T hen shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before Jehovah; For he cometh to judge the earth.

Entonces cantarán los árboles de los bosques delante de Jehová, Porque viene a juzgar la tierra.

34 O give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

Aclamad a Jehová, porque él es bueno; Porque su misericordia es eterna.

35 A nd say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us together and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, And to triumph in thy praise.

Y decid: Sálvanos, oh Dios, salvación nuestra; Recógenos, y líbranos de las naciones, Para que confesemos tu santo nombre, Y nos gloriemos en tus alabanzas.

36 B lessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.

Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, De eternidad a eternidad. m Y dijo todo el pueblo, Amén, y alabó a Jehová. Los levitas encargados del arca

37 S o he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;

Y dejó allí, delante del arca del pacto de Jehová, a Asaf y a sus hermanos, para que ministrasen de continuo delante del arca, cada cosa en su día;

38 a nd Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

y a Obed-edom y a sus sesenta y ocho hermanos; y a Obed-edom hijo de Jedutún y a Hosa como porteros.

39 a nd Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place that was at Gibeon,

Asimismo al sacerdote Sadoc, y a los sacerdotes sus hermanos, delante del tabernáculo de Jehová en el lugar alto que estaba en Gabaón,

40 t o offer burnt-offerings unto Jehovah upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Jehovah, which he commanded unto Israel;

para que sacrificasen continuamente, a mañana y tarde, holocaustos a Jehová en el altar del holocausto, conforme a todo lo que está escrito en la ley de Jehová, que él prescribió a Israel;

41 a nd with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his lovingkindness endureth for ever;

y con ellos a Hemán, a Jedutún y a los otros escogidos declarados por sus nombres, para glorificar a Jehová, porque es eterna su misericordia.

42 a nd with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

Con ellos a Hemán y a Jedutún con trompetas y címbalos para los que tocaban, y con otros instrumentos de música de Dios; y a los hijos de Jedutún para porteros.

43 A nd all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.

Y todo el pueblo se fue cada uno a su casa; y David se volvió para bendecir su casa.
