1 M ake a joyful noise unto God, all the earth:

Aclamad a Dios con alegría, toda la tierra.

2 S ing forth the glory of his name: Make his praise glorious.

Cantad la gloria de su nombre; Poned gloria en su alabanza.

3 S ay unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

Decid a Dios:!! Cuán asombrosas son tus obras! Por la grandeza de tu poder se someterán a ti tus enemigos.

4 A ll the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah

Toda la tierra te adorará, Y cantará a ti; Cantarán a tu nombre. Selah

5 C ome, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

Venid, y ved las obras de Dios, Temible en hechos sobre los hijos de los hombres.

6 H e turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him.

Volvió el mar en seco; Por el río pasaron a pie; Allí en él nos alegramos.

7 H e ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

El señorea con su poder para siempre; Sus ojos atalayan sobre las naciones; Los rebeldes no serán enaltecidos. Selah

8 O h bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

Bendecid, pueblos, a nuestro Dios, Y haced oír la voz de su alabanza.

9 W ho holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved.

El es quien preservó la vida a nuestra alma, Y no permitió que nuestros pies resbalasen.

10 F or thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

Porque tú nos probaste, oh Dios; Nos ensayaste como se afina la plata.

11 T hou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

Nos metiste en la red; Pusiste sobre nuestros lomos pesada carga.

12 T hou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

Hiciste cabalgar hombres sobre nuestra cabeza; Pasamos por el fuego y por el agua, Y nos sacaste a abundancia.

13 I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

Entraré en tu casa con holocaustos; Te pagaré mis votos,

14 W hich my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

Que pronunciaron mis labios Y habló mi boca, cuando estaba angustiado.

15 I will offer unto thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

Holocaustos de animales engordados te ofreceré, Con sahumerio de carneros; Te ofreceré en sacrificio bueyes y machos cabríos. Selah

16 C ome, and hear, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Venid, oíd todos los que teméis a Dios, Y contaré lo que ha hecho a mi alma.

17 I cried unto him with my mouth, And he was extolled with my tongue.

A él clamé con mi boca, Y fue exaltado con mi lengua.

18 I f I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear:

Si en mi corazón hubiese yo mirado a la iniquidad, El Señor no me habría escuchado.

19 B ut verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

Mas ciertamente me escuchó Dios; Atendió a la voz de mi súplica.

20 B lessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, Nor his lovingkindness from me.

Bendito sea Dios, Que no echó de sí mi oración, ni de mí su misericordia.
