1 ¶ In the same manner thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon; of cedar wood shalt thou make it.

Harás también un altar para quemar en él incienso; de madera de acacia lo harás.

2 I ts length shall be a cubit and its width a cubit; it shall be square and its height two cubits; its horns shall be of the same.

De un codo será su longitud y de un codo su anchura, será cuadrado; y de dos codos su altura. Sus cuernos serán de una pieza con él.

3 A nd thou shalt cover it with pure gold, its top and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou shalt make unto it a moulding of gold round about.

Lo revestirás de oro puro: su parte superior, sus lados en derredor y sus cuernos; y le harás una moldura de oro alrededor.

4 A nd two golden rings shalt thou make to it under its moulding by its two corners on both sides for places for the staves to bear it with.

Le harás dos argollas de oro debajo de su moldura; los harás en dos de sus lados, en lados opuestos, y servirán de sostén para las varas con las cuales transportarlo.

5 A nd thou shalt make the staves of cedar wood and cover them with gold.

Y harás las varas de madera de acacia y las revestirás de oro.

6 A nd thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the seat of reconciliation that is over the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself.

Pondrás el altar delante del velo que está junto al arca del testimonio, delante del propiciatorio que está sobre el arca del testimonio, donde yo me encontraré contigo.

7 A nd Aaron shall burn sweet incense thereon every morning; when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn it.

Y Aarón quemará incienso aromático sobre él; lo quemará cada mañana al preparar las lámparas.

8 A nd when Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn incense upon it continually before the LORD throughout your ages.

Y cuando Aarón prepare las lámparas al atardecer, quemará incienso. Habrá incienso perpetuo delante del Señor por todas vuestras generaciones.

9 Y e shall offer no strange incense thereon nor burnt sacrifice nor present; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

No ofreceréis incienso extraño en este altar, ni holocausto ni ofrenda de cereal; tampoco derramaréis libación sobre él.

10 A nd Aaron shall make reconciliation upon the horns of it once a year with the blood of the reconciliation for sin; once a year shall he make reconciliation upon it throughout your ages; it shall be most holy unto the LORD.

Aarón hará expiación sobre los cuernos del altar una vez al año; hará expiación sobre él con la sangre de la ofrenda de expiación por el pecado, una vez al año por todas vuestras generaciones; santísimo es al Señor. La ofrenda del rescate

11 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Habló también el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

12 W hen thou takest the number of the sons of Israel after the sum of them, each one shall give a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou dost number them, that there be no mortality in them because of numbering them.

Cuando hagas un censo de los hijos de Israel para contarlos, cada uno dará al Señor un rescate por su persona cuando sean contados, para que no haya plaga entre ellos cuando los hayas contado.

13 T his shall be given by every one that passes among those that are numbered: half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs); a half shekel shall be the offering to the LORD.

Esto dará todo el que sea contado: medio siclo, conforme al siclo del santuario. El siclo es de veinte geras. Medio siclo es la ofrenda al Señor.

14 A nyone that passes among those that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the offering unto the LORD.

Todo el que sea contado, de veinte años arriba, dará la ofrenda al Señor.

15 T he rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give the offering unto the LORD to make reconciliation for your souls.

El rico no pagará más, ni el pobre pagará menos del medio siclo, al dar la ofrenda al Señor para hacer expiación por vuestras vidas.

16 A nd thou shalt take the reconciliation money of the sons of Israel and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the testimony, and it shall be a memorial unto the sons of Israel before the LORD to reconcile your souls.

Tomarás de los hijos de Israel el dinero de la expiación y lo darás para el servicio de la tienda de reunión, para que sea un recordatorio para los hijos de Israel delante del Señor, como expiación por vuestras vidas. La fuente de bronce

17 ¶ And the LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

Y el Señor habló a Moisés, diciendo:

18 T hou shalt also make a laver of brass, and its base also of brass, to wash with; and thou shalt place it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, and thou shalt put water in it.

Harás también una pila de bronce, con su base de bronce, para lavatorio; y la colocarás entre la tienda de reunión y el altar, y pondrás agua en ella.

19 A nd from it Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.

Y con ella se lavarán las manos y los pies Aarón y sus hijos.

20 W hen they go into the tabernacle of the testimony, they shall wash with water that they not die, or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn the offering unto the LORD that must be consumed by fire,

Al entrar en la tienda de reunión, se lavarán con agua para que no mueran; también cuando se acerquen al altar a ministrar para quemar una ofrenda encendida al Señor.

21 t hey shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. And he and his seed shall have it as a perpetual statute throughout their generations.

Y se lavarán las manos y los pies para que no mueran; y será estatuto perpetuo para ellos, para Aarón y su descendencia, por todas sus generaciones. El aceite de la unción y el incienso

22 ¶ The LORD spoke further unto Moses, saying,

Habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

23 T hou must take unto thee of the principal spices: of excellent myrrh five hundred shekels and of aromatic cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of aromatic calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

Toma también de las especias más finas: de mirra fluida, quinientos siclos; de canela aromática, la mitad, doscientos cincuenta; y de caña aromática, doscientos cincuenta;

24 a nd of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive one hin;

de casia, quinientos siclos, conforme al siclo del santuario, y un hin de aceite de oliva.

25 a nd thou shalt make of it the oil of the holy anointing, a superior ointment, after the art of the apothecary, which shall be the oil of the holy anointing.

Y harás de ello el aceite de la santa unción, mezcla de perfume, obra de perfumador; será aceite de santa unción.

26 A nd thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the testimony with it and the ark of the testimony

Y con él ungirás la tienda de reunión y el arca del testimonio,

27 a nd the table and all its vessels and the lampstand and its vessels and the altar of incense

la mesa y todos sus utensilios, el candelabro y sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,

28 a nd the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels and the laver and its base.

el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios, la pila y su base.

29 T hus thou shalt consecrate them, and they shall be most holy; whatever touches them shall be sanctified.

Los consagrarás y serán santísimos; todo aquello que los toque será santificado.

30 A nd thou shalt also anoint Aaron and his sons and sanctify them that they may be my priests.

Y ungirás a Aarón y a sus hijos y los consagrarás para que me sirvan como sacerdotes.

31 A nd thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This shall be my oil of the holy anointing throughout your ages.

Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: “Este será aceite de santa unción para mí por todas vuestras generaciones.

32 I t shall not be poured upon man’s flesh; neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it; it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

“No se derramará sobre nadie, ni haréis otro igual en las mismas proporciones; santo es, y santo será para vosotros.

33 W hoever compounds any like it and puts any of it upon a stranger shall be cut off from his people.

“Cualquiera que haga otro semejante, o el que ponga de él sobre un laico, será cortado de entre su pueblo.”

34 A nd the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee aromas, stacte and onycha and aromatic galbanum and pure frankincense, of each in equal weight.

Entonces el Señor dijo a Moisés: Toma especias, estacte, uña aromática y gálbano, especias con incienso puro; que haya de cada una igual peso.

35 A nd thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy;

Con ello harás incienso, un perfume, obra de perfumador, sazonado, puro y santo.

36 a nd thou shalt beat some of it very small and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the testimony, where I will testify unto thee of myself. It shall be most holy unto you.

Y molerás parte de él muy fino, y pondrás una parte delante del testimonio en el tabernáculo de reunión donde yo me encontraré contigo; santísimo será para vosotros.

37 A nd as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves another according to the composition thereof: it shall be holiness unto thee for the LORD.

Y el incienso que harás, no lo haréis en las mismas proporciones para vuestro propio uso; te será santo para el Señor.

38 W hoever shall make another like unto that to smell it shall be cut off from his people.

Cualquiera que haga incienso como éste, para usarlo como perfume será cortado de entre su pueblo.
