1 ¶ Keep the month of the new fruit, and thou shalt do the passover unto the LORD thy God; for in the month of the new fruit the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

Observarás el mes de Abib y celebrarás la Pascua al Señor tu Dios, porque en el mes de Abib el Señor tu Dios te sacó de Egipto de noche.

2 T hou shalt, therefore, sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the sheep and the cows, in the place which the LORD shall choose to cause his name to dwell therein.

Y sacrificarás la Pascua al Señor tu Dios con ofrendas de tus rebaños y de tus manadas, en el lugar que el Señor escoja para poner allí su nombre.

3 T hou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou didst come forth out of the land of Egypt in haste; that thou may remember the day when thou didst come forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

No comerás con ella pan con levadura; siete días comerás con ella pan sin levadura, pan de aflicción (porque aprisa saliste de la tierra de Egipto), para que recuerdes todos los días de tu vida el día que saliste de la tierra de Egipto.

4 A nd there shall be no leavened bread seen in thee within all thy borders for seven days; neither shall any of the flesh which thou didst sacrifice the evening of the first day remain all night until the morning.

Durante siete días no se verá contigo levadura en todo tu territorio; y de la carne que sacrifiques en la tarde del primer día, no quedará nada para la mañana siguiente.

5 T hou may not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates (or within any of thy towns) which the LORD thy God gives thee

No podrás sacrificar la Pascua en ninguna de las ciudades que el Señor tu Dios te da,

6 b ut at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to cause his name to dwell in; there thou shalt sacrifice the passover in the evening, at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time when thou came forth out of Egypt.

sino que en el lugar que el Señor tu Dios escoja para poner allí su nombre, sacrificarás la Pascua al atardecer, al ponerse el sol, a la hora en que saliste de Egipto.

7 A nd thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, and thou shalt turn in the morning and return unto thy tabernacles.

Y la asarás y la comerás en el lugar que el Señor tu Dios escoja. Luego, por la mañana, regresarás a tu habitación.

8 S ix days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day shall be a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God; thou shalt do no work in this.

Seis días comerás pan sin levadura, y en el séptimo día habrá una asamblea solemne para el Señor tu Dios. Ningún trabajo harás en él. Fiesta de las semanas

9 S even weeks shalt thou number unto thee; begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou shalt begin to put the sickle to the grain.

Siete semanas contarás; comenzarás a contar siete semanas desde el momento en que empieces a meter la hoz a la mies.

10 A nd thou shalt do the solemn feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God; out of the voluntary abundance of thy hand thou shalt give, according as the LORD thy God has blessed thee.

Entonces celebrarás la fiesta de las semanas al Señor tu Dios con el tributo de una ofrenda voluntaria de tu mano, la cual darás según el Señor tu Dios te haya bendecido.

11 A nd thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou and thy son and thy daughter and thy manslave and thy maidslave and the Levite that is within thy gates and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God has chosen to place his name there.

Y te alegrarás delante del Señor tu Dios, tú, tu hijo, tu hija, tu siervo, tu sierva, el levita que habita en tus ciudades, y el forastero, el huérfano y la viuda que están en medio de ti, en el lugar donde el Señor tu Dios escoja para poner allí su nombre.

12 A nd thou shalt remember that thou wast a slave in Egypt; therefore thou shalt keep and do these statutes.

Y te acordarás de que tú fuiste esclavo en Egipto; cuídate de guardar estos estatutos. Fiesta de los tabernáculos

13 T hou shalt observe the solemn feast of the tabernacles seven days after thou hast gathered in the harvest of thy threshing floor and thy winepress.

Durante siete días celebrarás la fiesta de los tabernáculos, cuando hayas recogido el producto de tu era y de tu lagar.

14 A nd thou shalt rejoice in thy solemn feast, thou and thy son and thy daughter and thy manslave and thy maidslave and the Levite and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, that are within thy gates (or within thy towns).

Y te alegrarás en tu fiesta, tú, tu hijo y tu hija, tu siervo y tu sierva, el levita y el forastero, el huérfano y la viuda que están en tus ciudades.

15 S even days shalt thou celebrate a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose; because the LORD thy God shall have blessed thee in all thy fruits and in all the works of thine hands, therefore, thou shalt truly be glad.

Siete días celebrarás fiesta al Señor tu Dios en el lugar que escoja el Señor; porque el Señor tu Dios te bendecirá en todos tus productos y en toda la obra de tus manos; por tanto, estarás realmente alegre.

16 T hree times each year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose: in the solemn feast of unleavened bread and in the solemn feast of weeks and in the solemn feast of the tabernacles. And they shall not appear before the LORD empty,

Tres veces al año se presentarán todos tus varones delante del Señor tu Dios en el lugar que El escoja: en la fiesta de los panes sin levadura, en la fiesta de las semanas y en la fiesta de los tabernáculos; y no se presentarán con las manos vacías delante del Señor.

17 E ach man with the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God, which he shall have given thee.

Cada hombre dará lo que pueda, de acuerdo con la bendición que el Señor tu Dios te haya dado. Administración de la justicia

18 ¶ Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all the gates of thy cities, which the LORD thy God shall give thee throughout thy tribes, and they shall judge the people with just (and righteous) judgment.

Nombrarás para ti jueces y oficiales en todas las ciudades que el Señor tu Dios te da, según tus tribus, y ellos juzgarán al pueblo con justo juicio.

19 T hou shalt not twist that which is right; thou shalt not respect persons neither take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

No torcerás la justicia; no harás acepción de personas, ni tomarás soborno, porque el soborno ciega los ojos del sabio y pervierte las palabras del justo.

20 T hou shalt follow justice and righteousness, that thou may live and inherit the land which the LORD thy God gives thee.

La justicia, y sólo la justicia buscarás, para que vivas y poseas la tierra que el Señor tu Dios te da.

21 T hou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

No plantarás para ti Asera de ninguna clase de árbol junto al altar del Señor tu Dios que harás para ti.

22 N either shalt thou set thee up any image, which the LORD thy God hates.

Ni levantarás para ti pilar sagrado, lo cual aborrece el Señor tu Dios.
