1 ¶ The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Palabra del Señor que vino a Miqueas de Moréset en los días de Jotam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá; lo que vio acerca de Samaria y Jerusalén.

2 H ear, all ye peoples; hearken, O earth, and all that is therein: and the Lord GOD, the Lord from his holy temple shall be a witness against you.

Oíd, pueblos todos, escucha, tierra y cuanto hay en ti; sea el Señor Dios testigo contra vosotros, el Señor desde su santo templo.

3 F or, behold, the LORD comes forth out of his place and will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Porque he aquí, el Señor sale de su lugar, y descenderá y hollará las alturas de la tierra.

4 A nd the mountains shall melt under him, and the valleys shall be split, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that run down a steep place.

Debajo de El los montes se derretirán, y los valles se hendirán, como la cera ante el fuego, como las aguas derramadas por una pendiente.

5 A ll this for the rebellion of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the rebellion of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

Todo esto por la rebelión de Jacob y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebelión de Jacob ? ¿No es Samaria ? ¿Cuál es el lugar alto de Judá? ¿No es Jerusalén ?

6 T herefore I will make Samaria into heaps in the field, into a land of vineyards: and I will scatter her stones throughout the valley, and I will uncover her foundations.

Haré, pues, de Samaria un montón de ruinas en el campo, lugares para plantar viñas; derramaré sus piedras por el valle, y pondré al descubierto sus cimientos.

7 A nd all her graven images shall be broken to pieces, and all her gifts shall be burned in the fire, and I will destroy all her idols, for she gathered it of the gifts of harlots, and they shall return unto gifts of harlots.

Todos sus ídolos serán destrozados, y todas sus ganancias serán quemadas por el fuego, y asolaré todas sus imágenes, porque las juntó de ganancias de ramera, y a ganancias de ramera volverán.

8 ¶ Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons and mourning as the owls.

Por eso me lamentaré y gemiré, andaré descalzo y desnudo, daré aullidos como los chacales y lamentos como los avestruces.

9 F or her wound is painful, for it is come unto Judah; it is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Porque es incurable su herida, pues ha llegado hasta Judá; se ha acercado hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, hasta Jerusalén.

10 D o not declare it in Gath, weep little; roll thyself in the dust for the house of Aphrah.

En Gat no lo anunciéis, tampoco lloréis. En Bet-le-afrá revuélcate en el polvo.

11 P ass away naked with shame, thou inhabitant of Saphir: the inhabitant of Zaanan did not come forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you for his lateness.

Vete al cautiverio, habitante de Safir, en vergonzosa desnudez. La que habita en Zaanán no escapa. La lamentación de Bet-esel es que El quitará de vosotros su apoyo.

12 F or the inhabitant of Maroth was pained because of good; therefore evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

Porque se debilita esperando el bien la que habita en Marot, pues la calamidad ha descendido del Señor hasta la puerta de Jerusalén.

13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, hitch the chariot to dromedaries: for thou wert the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion, for in thee the rebellions of Israel were invented.

Unce al carro los corceles, habitante de Laquis (ella fue principio de pecado para la hija de Sion); porque en ti fueron halladas las rebeliones de Israel.

14 T herefore shalt thou give gifts to Moreshethgath; the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

Por tanto, darás presentes de despedida a Moréset-gat; las casas de Aczib serán un engaño para los reyes de Israel.

15 Y et will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come unto Adullam.

Además, traeré contra ti al que toma posesión, oh habitante de Maresa. Hasta Adulam se irá la gloria de Israel.

16 M ake thee bald, and shave thee for the sons of thy delight; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle, for they are gone into captivity from thee.

Arráncate los cabellos y ráete por los hijos de tus delicias; ensancha tu calva como la del buitre, porque irán al cautiverio lejos de ti.
