1 ¶ Preserve me, O God: for in thee I have put my trust.

Protégeme, oh Dios, pues en Ti me refugio.

2 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my goodness: I have no goodness apart from thee;

Yo dije al Señor: “Tú eres mi Señor; Ningún bien tengo fuera de Ti.”

3 t o the saints that are in the earth and to the excellent: all my delight is towards them.

En cuanto a los santos que están en la tierra, Ellos son los nobles en quienes está toda mi delicia.

4 T he sorrows of those that hasten after another god shall be multiplied; their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

Se multiplicarán las aflicciones de aquéllos que han corrido tras otro dios; No derramaré yo sus libaciones de sangre, Ni sus nombres pronunciarán mis labios.

5 T he LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; thou dost maintain my lot.

El Señor es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa; Tú sustentas mi suerte.

6 T he lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a beautiful inheritance.

Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares agradables; En verdad es hermosa la herencia que me ha tocado.

7 I will bless the LORD, who gives me counsel: my kidneys also instruct me in the night seasons.

Bendeciré al Señor que me aconseja; En verdad, en las noches mi corazón me instruye.

8 ¶ I have set the LORD always before me: because when he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Al Señor he puesto continuamente delante de mí; Porque está a mi diestra, permaneceré firme.

9 T herefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest secure.

Por tanto, mi corazón se alegra y mi alma se regocija; También mi carne morará segura,

10 F or thou wilt not leave my soul in Sheol; neither wilt thou suffer thy Merciful One to see corruption.

Porque Tú no abandonarás mi alma en el Seol, Ni permitirás que Tu Santo sufra corrupción.

11 T hou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Me darás a conocer la senda de la vida; En Tu presencia hay plenitud de gozo; En Tu diestra hay deleites para siempre.
