1 ¿ Hasta cuándo, oh Señor ? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre ? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás de mí tu rostro ?

How long, O Lord ? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?

2 ¿ Hasta cuándo he de tomar consejo en mi alma, teniendo pesar en mi corazón todo el día ? ¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo se enaltecerá sobre mí?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

3 C onsidera y respóndeme, oh Señor, Dios mío; ilumina mis ojos, no sea que duerma el sueño de la muerte;

Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,

4 n o sea que mi enemigo diga: Lo he vencido; y mis adversarios se regocijen cuando yo sea sacudido.

And my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.

5 M as yo en tu misericordia he confiado; mi corazón se regocijará en tu salvación.

But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

6 C antaré al Señor, porque me ha colmado de bienes.

I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
