The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

43 R egii care au domnit în Edom, înainte ca vreun rege să domnească peste Israel, au fost: Bela, fiul lui Beor; numele cetăţii sale era Dinhaba.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there resigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 C ând Bela a murit, Iobab, fiul lui Zerah, din Boţra, a domnit în locul lui.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 C ând Iobab a murit, Huşam, din ţara temaniţilor, a domnit în locul lui.

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 C ând Huşam a murit, Hadad, fiul lui Bedad, cel care i-a învins pe midianiţi la Moab, a domnit în locul lui; numele cetăţii sale era Avit.

And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.

51 H adad însă a murit şi el. Căpeteniile Edomului au fost: căpetenia Timna, căpetenia Alva, căpetenia Ietet,

And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

52 c ăpetenia Oholibama, căpetenia Ela, căpetenia Pinon,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

53 c ăpetenia Chenaz, căpetenia Teman, căpetenia Mibţar,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54 c ăpetenia Magdiel şi căpetenia Iram. Acestea au fost căpeteniile Edomului.
