1 D omnul împărăţeşte îmbrăcat în maiestate, Domnul este îmbrăcat şi încins cu putere. De aceea lumea este întărită şi nu se clatină.

Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 T ronul Tău a fost aşezat din vremuri străvechi; Tu eşti din veşnicie.

Thy throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting.

3 M ările s-au ridicat, Doamne, mările şi-au ridicat glasul, mările şi-au ridicat valurile.

The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.

4 M ai măreţ decât vuietul apelor cele mari şi mai măreţ decât valurile mării este Domnul din înălţime.

Above the voices of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.

5 M ărturiile Tale sunt vrednice de încredere, iar sfinţenia Îţi împodobeşte Casa; şi aşa va fi, Doamne, cât vor dăinui zilele.

Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thy house, O Jehovah, for evermore.
