1 « “Quando uno offrirà un sacrificio di riconoscenza, se offre bestiame grosso, un maschio o una femmina, l’offrirà senza difetto davanti al Signore.

“‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings; if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.

2 P oserà la mano sulla testa della sua offerta, la sgozzerà all’ingresso della tenda di convegno e i sacerdoti, figli di Aaronne, spargeranno il sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting: and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

3 D i questo sacrificio di riconoscenza offrirà, come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore, il grasso che copre le interiora e tutto il grasso che vi aderisce,

He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

4 i due rognoni, il grasso che c’è sopra e che copre i fianchi, e la rete del fegato, che staccherà vicino ai rognoni.

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

5 I figli di Aaronne faranno bruciare tutto questo sull’altare sopra l’olocausto, che è sulla legna messa sul fuoco. Questo è un sacrificio di profumo soave, consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.

Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

6 S e l’offerta che egli fa come sacrificio di riconoscenza al Signore è di bestiame minuto, un maschio o una femmina, l’offrirà senza difetto.

“‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without defect.

7 S e presenta come offerta un agnello, l’offrirà davanti al Signore.

If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;

8 P oserà la mano sulla testa della sua offerta, la sgozzerà all’ingresso della tenda di convegno e i figli di Aaronne ne spargeranno il sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

9 D i questo sacrificio di riconoscenza offrirà, come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore, il grasso, tutta la coda che egli staccherà presso l’estremità della spina dorsale, il grasso che copre le interiora, tutto il grasso che vi aderisce,

He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,

10 i due rognoni, il grasso che vi è sopra, che copre i fianchi, e la rete del fegato che staccherà vicino ai rognoni.

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

11 I l sacerdote farà bruciare tutto questo sull’altare. È un cibo consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.

The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.

12 S e la sua offerta è una capra, l’offrirà davanti al Signore.

“‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh:

13 P oserà la mano sulla testa della vittima, la sgozzerà all’ingresso della tenda di convegno e i figli di Aaronne ne spargeranno il sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

and he shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

14 D ella vittima offrirà, come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore, il grasso che copre le interiora, tutto il grasso che vi aderisce,

He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,

15 i due rognoni, il grasso che c’è sopra e che copre i fianchi, e la rete del fegato che si staccherà vicino ai rognoni.

and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.

16 I l sacerdote farà bruciare tutto questo sull’altare. È un cibo di profumo soave, consumato dal fuoco. Tutto il grasso appartiene al Signore.

The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.

17 Q uesta è una legge perenne per tutte le vostre generazioni. In tutti i luoghi dove abiterete non mangerete né grasso né sangue”».

“‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”
