1 E ntonces me llevó a la puerta, la puerta que mira hacia el oriente;

Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

2 y he aquí, la gloria del Dios de Israel venía de la parte del oriente. Su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía de su gloria.

and, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

3 Y tenía el aspecto de la visión que vi, como la visión que había visto cuando El vino a destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que yo había visto junto al río Quebar. Entonces me postré sobre mi rostro.

And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

4 L a gloria del Señor entró en el templo por el camino de la puerta que da hacia el oriente.

And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

5 Y el Espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior, y he aquí, la gloria del Señor llenó el templo.

So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.

6 Y oí a uno que me hablaba desde el templo, mientras el hombre estaba de pie junto a mí,

And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

7 y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de mi trono, el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, donde habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre. Y la casa de Israel no volverá a profanar mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus prostituciones y con los cadáveres de sus reyes cuando mueran,

And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

8 p oniendo su umbral junto a mi umbral, y sus postes junto a mis postes con sólo un muro entre ellos y yo. Ellos han profanado mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que han cometido; por eso los he consumido en mi ira.

In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

9 Q ue alejen ahora de mí sus prostituciones y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y yo habitaré entre ellos para siempre.

Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 Y tú, hijo de hombre, describe el templo a la casa de Israel, para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades, y tomen las medidas de su plano.

Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

11 Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, enséñales el diseño del templo, su estructura, sus salidas, sus entradas, todos sus diseños, todos sus estatutos y todas sus leyes. Y escribe esto ante sus ojos para que guarden todas sus leyes y todos sus estatutos, y los cumplan.

And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

12 E sta es la ley del templo: todo su territorio sobre la cumbre del monte por todo alrededor será santísimo. He aquí, ésta es la ley del templo.

This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

13 E stas son las medidas del altar en codos ( cada codo de un codo y un palmo menor): la base, un codo, el ancho, un codo; su reborde en la orilla por todo alrededor, un palmo. Y ésta será la altura del altar:

And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

14 d esde la base en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior será de dos codos, por un codo de ancho; y desde el zócalo menor hasta el zócalo mayor será de cuatro codos, por un codo de ancho.

And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

15 E l hogar del altar será de cuatro codos, y del hogar del altar se extenderán hacia arriba cuatro cuernos.

So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

16 E l hogar del altar será de doce codos de largo por doce de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados.

And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

17 Y el zócalo será de catorce codos de largo por catorce de ancho por sus cuatro lados; el borde alrededor será de medio codo, y su base, de un codo alrededor; sus gradas mirarán al oriente.

And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

18 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor Dios: “Estos son los estatutos para el altar el día que sea construido, para ofrecer holocaustos sobre él y para esparcir sobre él sangre.

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord God; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

19 “ A los sacerdotes levitas que son de la descendencia de Sadoc, que se acercan a mí para servirme” —declara el Señor Dios — “darás un novillo de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado.

And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering.

20 “ Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre sus cuatro cuernos, en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y en el borde todo alrededor; así lo limpiarás y harás expiación por él.

And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

21 “ Luego tomarás el novillo para la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar señalado del templo, fuera del santuario.

Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

22 “ Al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado, y purificarás el altar como lo purificaron con el novillo.

And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

23 “ Cuando hayas terminado de purificar lo, ofrecerás un novillo sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 “ Los ofrecerás delante del Señor, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor.

And thou shalt offer them before the Lord, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the Lord.

25 “ Durante siete días prepararás diariamente un macho cabrío para la ofrenda por el pecado; también serán preparados un novillo de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

26 “ Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán; así lo consagrarán.

Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

27 “ Cuando hayan terminado estos días, sucederá que del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas de paz; y yo me complaceré en vosotros” —declara el Señor Dios.

And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.
