Psalm 30 ~ Salmos 30

1 I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

Te ensalzaré, oh Señor, porque me has elevado, Y no has permitido que mis enemigos se rían de mí.

2 O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

Oh Señor, Dios mío, A Ti pedí auxilio y me sanaste.

3 O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.

Oh Señor, has sacado mi alma del Seol; Me has guardado con vida, para que no descienda al sepulcro.

4 S ing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, And give thanks to His holy name.

Canten alabanzas al Señor, ustedes Sus santos, Y alaben Su santo nombre.

5 F or His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Porque Su ira es sólo por un momento, Pero Su favor es por toda una vida. El llanto puede durar toda la noche, Pero a la mañana vendrá el grito de alegría.

6 N ow as for me, I said in my prosperity, “I will never be moved.”

En cuanto a mí, en mi prosperidad dije: “Jamás seré conmovido.”

7 O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, I was dismayed.

Oh Señor, con Tu favor has hecho que mi monte permanezca fuerte; Tú escondiste Tu rostro, fui conturbado.

8 T o You, O Lord, I called, And to the Lord I made supplication:

A Ti, oh Señor, clamé, Y al Señor dirigí mi súplica:

9 What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?

“¿Qué provecho hay en mi sangre (mi muerte) si desciendo al sepulcro ? ¿ Acaso Te alabará el polvo ? ¿Anunciará Tu fidelidad ?

10 Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me; O Lord, be my helper.”

Escucha, oh Señor, y ten piedad de mí; Oh Señor, sé Tú mi ayuda.”

11 Y ou have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,

Tú has cambiado mi lamento en danza; Has desatado mi ropa de luto y me has ceñido de alegría;

12 T hat my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Para que mi alma Te cante alabanzas y no esté callada. Oh Señor, Dios mío, Te daré gracias por siempre.
