1 U stedes, habitantes de toda la tierra, ¡aclamen a Dios con alegría!

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:

2 ¡ Canten salmos a la gloria de su nombre! ¡Cántenle gloriosas alabanzas!

sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.

3 D igan a Dios: «¡Tus obras son asombrosas! ¡Con tu gran poder sometes a tus enemigos!»

Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

4 ¡ Toda la tierra te rinde adoración y canta salmos a tu nombre!

All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

5 V engan a ver las obras de Dios, sus hechos sorprendentes en favor de los hombres.

Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

6 C onvirtió el mar en terreno seco, y ellos cruzaron el río por su propio pie. ¡Alegrémonos por lo que hizo allí!

He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

7 P or su poder, él nos gobierna para siempre; sus ojos vigilan atentamente a las naciones; por eso los rebeldes no lograrán levantarse.

He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

8 P ueblos todos: ¡bendigan a nuestro Dios! ¡Hagan resonar la voz de su alabanza!

O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

9 T ú, Señor, nos has preservado la vida, y no has dejado que resbalen nuestros pies.

which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

10 T ú, Dios nuestro, nos has puesto a prueba; nos has refinado como se refina la plata.

For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

11 P ero nos dejaste caer en la trampa; ¡impusiste sobre nosotros una pesada carga!

Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

12 C aballos y jinetes han pasado sobre nosotros; hemos pasado por el fuego y por el agua, pero al final nos has llevado a la abundancia.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

13 E ntraré en tu templo con holocaustos, y allí te cumpliré mis promesas,

I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

14 l as promesas que, en mi angustia, pronuncié con mis propios labios.

which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

15 T e ofreceré holocaustos de los mejores animales, te ofreceré sahumerio de carneros y sacrificios de bueyes y machos cabríos.

I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.

16 U stedes todos, los que temen a Dios, vengan y escuchen lo que él ha hecho conmigo.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

17 C on mis labios le pedí ayuda; con mi lengua exalté su nombre.

I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.

18 S i mi corazón se hubiera fijado en la maldad, el Señor no me habría escuchado.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

19 P ero lo cierto es que Dios me escuchó y atendió a la voz de mi súplica.

but verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 ¡ Bendito sea Dios, que no rechazó mi oración ni me escatimó su misericordia!

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
