and they have in their inheritance Beer-Sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Azem,

and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 Z iklag, Beth-Markaboth, Hazar-Susa,

and Ziklag, and Beth-Marcaboth, and Hazar-Susah,

6 B eth-Lebaoth, Saruhen. Das sind dreizehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.

7 A in, Rimmon, Ehter, Asan. Das sind vier Städte und ihre Dörfer.

Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages;

8 D azu alle Dörfer, die um diese Städte liegen, bis gen Baalath-Beer-Ramath gegen Mittag. Das ist das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Simeon nach ihren Geschlechtern.

also all the villages which round about these cities, unto Baalath-Beer, Ramoth of the south. This the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, for their families;

9 D enn der Kinder Simeon Erbteil ist unter dem Erbteil der Kinder Juda. Weil das Erbteil der Kinder Juda ihnen zu groß war, darum erbten die Kinder Simeon unter ihrem Erbteil.

out of the portion of the sons of Judah the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for the portion of the sons of Judah hath been too much for them, and the sons of Simeon inherit in the midst of their inheritance.

10 D as dritte Los fiel auf die Kinder Sebulon nach ihren Geschlechtern; und die Grenze ihres Erbteils war bis gen Sarid

And the third lot goeth up for the sons of Zebulun, for their families; and the border of their inheritance is unto Sarid,

11 u nd geht hinauf abendwärts gen Mareala und stößt an Dabbeseth und stößt an den Bach, der vor Jokneam fließt,

and their border hath gone up towards the sea, and Maralah, and come against Dabbasheth, and come unto the brook which on the front of Jokneam,

12 u nd wendet sich von Sarid gegen der Sonne Aufgang bis an die Grenze Kisloth-Thabor und kommt hinaus gen Dabrath und reicht hinauf gen Japhia,

and turned back from Sarid eastward, at the sun-rising, by the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and gone out unto Daberath, and gone up to Japhia,

13 u nd von da geht sie gegen Aufgang durch Gath-Hepher, Eth-Kazin und kommt hinaus gen Rimmon, Mithoar und Nea

and thence it hath passed over eastward, to the east, to Gittah-Hepher, Ittah-Kazin, and gone out Rimmon-Methoar to Neah;

14 u nd lenkt sich herum mitternachtwärts gen Hannathon und endet im Tal Jephthah-El,

and the border hath gone round about it, from the north to Hannathon; and its outgoings have been the valley of Jiphthah-El,

15 u nd Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jedeala und Bethlehem. Das sind zwölf Städte und ihre Dörfer.

and Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-Lehem; twelve cities and their villages.

17 D as vierte Los fiel auf die Kinder Isaschar nach ihren Geschlechtern.

For Issachar hath the fourth lot gone out, for the sons of Issachar, for their families;

18 U nd ihr Gebiet war Jesreel, Chesulloth, Sunem,

and their border is Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19 H apharaim, Sion, Anaharath,

and Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,

20 R abbith, Kisjon, Ebez,

and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

21 R emeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda, Beth-Pazez,

and Remeth, and En-Gannim, and En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez;

22 u nd die Grenze stößt an Thabor, Sahazima, Beth-Semes, und ihr Ende ist am Jordan. Sechzehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.

and the border hath touched against Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-Shemesh, and the outgoings of their border have been the Jordan; sixteen cities and their villages.

And the fifth lot goeth out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families;

25 U nd ihr Gebiet war Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achsaph,

and their border is Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

26 A llammelech, Amead, Miseal, und die Grenze stößt an den Karmel am Meer und an Sihor-Libnath

and Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and it toucheth against Carmel westward, and against Shihor-Libnath;

27 u nd wendet sich gegen der Sonne Aufgang gen Beth-Dagon und stößt an Sebulon und an das Tal Jephthah-El mitternachtwärts, Beth-Emek, Negiel und kommt hinaus gen Kabul zur Linken,

and hath turned back, at the sun-rising, Beth-Dagon, and come against Zebulun, and against the valley of Jiphthah-El toward the north of Beth-Emek, and Neiel, and hath gone out unto Cabul on the left,

28 E bron, Rehob, Hammon, Kana bis an Groß-Sidon

and Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, unto great Zidon;

29 u nd wendet sich gen Rama bis zu der festen Stadt Tyrus und wendet sich gen Hosa und endet am Meer in der Gegend von Achsib

and the border hath turned back to Ramah, and unto the fenced city Tyre; and the border hath turned back to Hosah, and its outgoings are at the sea, from the coast to Achzib,

30 u nd schließt ein Umma, Aphek, Rehob. Zweiundzwanzig Städte und ihre Dörfer.

and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob; twenty and two cities and their villages.

31 D as ist das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Asser nach ihren Geschlechtern, die Städte und ihre Dörfer.

This the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, for their families, these cities and their villages.

32 D as sechste Los fiel auf die Kinder Naphthali nach ihren Geschlechtern.

For the sons of Naphtali hath the sixth lot gone out, for the sons of Naphtali, for their families;

33 U nd ihre Grenze war von Heleph, von den Eichen bei Zaanannim an, Adami-Nebek, Jabneel, bis gen Lakkum und endet am Jordan,

and their border is from Heleph, from Allon in Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakkum, and its outgoings are the Jordan;

34 u nd die Grenze wendet sich zum Abend gen Asnoth-Thabor und kommt von da hinaus gen Hukkok und stößt an Sebulon gegen Mittag und an Asser gegen Abend und an Juda am Jordan gegen der Sonne Aufgang;

and the border hath turned back westward Aznoth-Tabor, and gone out thence to Hukkok, and touched against Zebulun on the south, and against Asher it hath touched on the west, and against Judah the Jordan, at the sun-rising;

35 u nd feste Städte sind: Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,

and the cities of defence Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

and Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

44 E ltheke, Gibbethon, Baalath,

and Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45 J ehud, Bne-Barak, Gath-Rimmon,

and Jehud, and Bene-Barak, and Gath-Rimmon,

46 M e-Jarkon, Rakkon mit den Grenzen gegen Japho.

47 U nd an demselben endet das Gebiet der Kinder Dan. Und die Kinder Dan zogen hinauf und stritten wider Lesem und gewannen und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und nahmen es ein und wohnten darin und nannten es Dan nach ihres Vaters Namen.

And the border of the sons of Dan goeth out from them, and the sons of Dan go up and fight with Leshem, and capture it, and smite it by the mouth of the sword, and possess it, and dwell in it, and call Leshem, Dan, according to the name of Dan their father.

49 U nd da sie das Ganze Land ausgeteilt hatten nach seinen Grenzen, gaben die Kinder Israel Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, ein Erbteil unter ihnen

And they finish to give the land in inheritance, by its borders, and the sons of Israel give an inheritance to Joshua son of Nun in their midst;

50 u nd gaben ihm nach dem Befehl des HERRN die Stadt, die er forderte, nämlich Thimnath-Serah auf dem Gebirge Ephraim. Da baute er die Stadt und wohnte darin.

by the command of Jehovah they have given to him the city which he asked, Timnath-Serah, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and he buildeth the city and dwelleth in it.

51 D as sind die Erbteile, die Eleasar, der Priester, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Obersten der Vaterhäuser unter den Stämmen durchs Los den Kindern Israel austeilten zu Silo vor dem HERRN, vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts; und vollendeten also das Austeilen des Landes.

These the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel, have caused to inherit by lot, in Shiloh, before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting; and they finish to apportion the land.
