1 ¶ The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.

¡Del Señor son la tierra y su plenitud! ¡Del Señor es el mundo y sus habitantes!

2 F or he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

¡El Señor afirmó la tierra sobre los mares! ¡El Señor la estableció sobre los ríos!

3 ¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in the place of his holiness?

«¿Quién merece subir al monte del Señor? ¿Quién merece llegar a su santuario?»

4 H e that has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not taken my name in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.

«Sólo quien tiene limpias las manos y puro el corazón; Sólo quien no invoca a los ídolos ni hace juramentos a dioses falsos.

5 H e shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his saving health.

Quien es así recibe bendiciones del Señor; ¡Dios, su salvador, le hace justicia!»

6 T his is the generation of those that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

Así son todos los que te buscan, los que buscan tu rostro, oh Dios de Jacob.

7 ¶ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

«¡Ustedes, puertas, levanten sus dinteles! ¡Ensánchense ustedes, puertas eternas! ¡Ábranle paso al Rey de la gloria!»

8 W ho is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

«¿Y quién es este Rey de la gloria?» «¡Es el Señor, el fuerte y valiente! ¡Es el Señor, el poderoso en batalla!»

9 L ift up your heads, O ye gates; lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.
