C osí Davide disse a Joab e ai capi del popolo: «Andate, fate il censimento degli Israeliti da Beer-Sceba, a Dan; quindi presentatemi il rapporto perché conosca il loro numero».

So David said to Joab and to the princes of the people, “ Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan, and bring me word that I may know their number.”
