C osí Davide disse a Joab e ai capi del popolo: «Andate, fate il censimento degli Israeliti da Beer-Sceba, a Dan; quindi presentatemi il rapporto perché conosca il loro numero».

And David said to Joab and to the princes of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer-sheba even to Dan; and bring me word, that I may know the sum of them.
