1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

وَتَكَلَّمَ اللهُ إلَى مُوسَى فَقالَ:

2 “ Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

«ها قَدِ اختَرتُ بَصَلْئِيلَ بْنَ أُورِي بْنَ حُورَ مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا.

3 a nd I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,

سَأملأُهُ بِرُوحٍ اللهِ مَهارَةً وَفَهماً وَمَعرِفَةً وَقُدراتٍ كَبِيرَةً

4 t o devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

لِعَمَلِ تَصامِيمَ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالفِضَّةِ وَالبُرونْزِ،

5 a nd in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.

وَفِي النَّقشِ عَلَى الحِجارَةِ الكَرِيمَةِ لِلتَّرصِيعِ، وَفِي زَخرَفَةِ الخَشَبِ، وَجَميعِ أنواعِ المَهاراتِ.

6 B ehold, I myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

وَقَدْ أعطَيتُهُ أُهُولِيآبَ بْنَ أخِيساماكَ مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ دانَ لِمُساعَدَتِهِ. «وَأعطَيتُ مَهارَةً لِكُلِّ صانِعٍ مُحتَرِفٍ لِيَصْنَعُوا جَمِيعَ ما أمَرْتُكَ بِهِ:

7 t he Tent of Meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,

خَيمَةَ الاجْتِماعِ وَصُندُوقَ لَوحَيِّ الشَّهادَةِ وَغِطاءَ صُندُوقِ لَوحَيِّ الشَّهادَةِ وَكُلَّ أدَواتِ الخَيمَةِ،

8 t he table and its vessels, the pure lamp stand with all its vessels, the altar of incense,

المائِدَةَ وَكُلَّ أدَواتِها، المَنارَةَ المَصْنُوعَةَ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ النَقِيِّ وَكُلَّ أدَواتِها، مَذْبَحَ البَخُورِ،

9 t he altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,

مَذبَحَ الذَّبائِحِ الصّاعِدَةِ وَكُلَّ أدَواتِهِ، حَوضَ الاغتِسالِ وَقاعِدَتَهُ،

10 t he finely worked garments—the holy garments for Aaron the priest—the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office,

الثِّيابَ المَنسُوجَةَ وَالثِّيابَ المُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي لِهارُونَ، ثِيابَ أبْنائِهِ الكَهنُوتِيَّةَ،

11 t he anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

زَيتَ المَسحَةِ وَالبَخُورَ الطَّيِّبَ لِلقُدسِ. «فَلْيَعْمَلُوها بِحَسَبِ ما أمَرْتُكَ بِهِ.» السَّبت

12 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

وَقالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى:

13 “ Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.

«تَكَلَّمْ إلَى بَني إسْرائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: ‹احفَظُوا سُبُوتِي لِأنَّها عَلامَةٌ بَينِي وَبَينَكُمْ جِيلاً بَعْدَ جِيلٍ لِتَعرِفُوا أنِّي أنا اللهُ الَّذِي أُقَدِّسُكُمْ.

14 Y ou shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

احْفَظُوا السَّبتَ لِأنَّهُ مُقَدَّسٌ. وَكُلُّ مَنْ يُنَجِّسُهُ يُقتَلُ. فَكُلُّ مَنْ يَقُومُ بِعَمَلٍ ما فِي السَّبتِ، يُقطَعُ مِنَ وَسَطِ الشَّعبِ.

15 S ix days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

«‹اعمَلُوا سِتَّةَ أيّامٍ، وَأمّا اليَومُ السّابِعُ فاحفَظُوهُ لِلرَّاحَةِ، فَهُوَ يَومٌ مٌقَدَّسٌ للهِ. مَنْ يَعمَلُ فِي يَومِ السَّبتِ فَإنَّهُ يُقْتَلُ.›

16 T herefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

عَلَى بَني إسْرائِيلَ أنْ يَحفَظُوا السَّبتَ لِيَبقَى جِيلاً بَعْدَ جِيلٍ كَعَهدٍ أبَدِيٍّ.

17 I t is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”

إنَّهُ عَلامَةٌ أبَدِيَّةٌ بَينِي وَبَينَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ، لِأنَّ اللهَ صَنَعَ السَّماءَ وَالأرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أيّامٍ، وَفِي اليَومِ السّابِعِ أكْمَلَ العَمَلَ وَاستَراحَ.»

18 H e gave to Moses, when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.

فَلَمّا انتَهَى اللهُ مِنَ الكَلامِ مَعَهُ عَلَى جَبَلِ سِيناءَ، أعطَى مُوسَى لَوحَيِّ الشَّهادَةِ. وَهُما الحَجَرانِ اللَّذانِ نَقَشَ اللهُ عَلَيهِما بِإصبَعِهِ.
