1 « Besaleel e Ooliab e tutti gli uomini abili, nei quali il Signore ha messo sapienza e intelligenza per saper eseguire tutti i lavori per il servizio del santuario, faranno ogni cosa secondo quanto il Signore ha ordinato».

Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.

2 M osè chiamò dunque Besaleel e Ooliab e tutti gli uomini abili nei quali il Signore aveva messo intelligenza, tutti quelli il cui cuore spingeva ad applicarsi al lavoro per eseguirlo;

And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

3 e ssi presero davanti a Mosè tutte le offerte portate dai figli d’Israele per i lavori destinati al servizio del santuario, per eseguirli. Ma ogni mattina i figli d’Israele continuavano a portare a Mosè delle offerte volontarie.

and they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

4 A llora tutti gli uomini abili che erano occupati in tutti i lavori del santuario, lasciato ognuno il lavoro che faceva, vennero a dire a Mosè:

And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

5 « Il popolo porta molto più di quello che occorre per eseguire i lavori che il Signore ha comandato di fare».

And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 A llora Mosè diede quest’ordine, che fu bandito per l’accampamento: «Né uomo né donna faccia più alcuna opera come offerta per il santuario». Così si impedì al popolo di portare altro;

And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 p oiché la roba già pronta bastava a fare tutto il lavoro, e ve n’era di avanzo. I teli

For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

8 T utti gli uomini abili, tra quelli che eseguivano il lavoro, fecero dunque il tabernacolo di dieci teli, di lino fino ritorto, di filo color violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati.

And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

9 L a lunghezza di un telo era di ventotto cubiti; e la larghezza, di quattro cubiti; tutti i teli erano della stessa misura.

The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.

10 C inque teli furono uniti insieme, e gli altri cinque furono pure uniti insieme.

And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

11 S i misero dei lacci di color violaceo all’orlo del telo che era all’estremità della prima serie di teli; lo stesso si fece all’orlo del telo che era all’estremità della seconda serie.

And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

12 S i misero cinquanta lacci al primo telo, e cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che era all’estremità della seconda serie: i lacci corrispondevano l’uno all’altro.

Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.

13 S i fecero pure cinquanta fermagli d’oro e si unirono i teli l’uno all’altro mediante i fermagli; così il tabernacolo formò un tutto unico.

And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.

14 S i fecero inoltre dei teli di pelo di capra, per servire da tenda per coprire il tabernacolo: di questi teli se ne fecero undici.

And he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

15 L a lunghezza di ogni telo era di trenta cubiti; la larghezza, di quattro cubiti; gli undici teli avevano la stessa misura.

The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.

16 S i unirono insieme, da una parte, cinque teli, e si unirono insieme, dall’altra parte, gli altri sei.

And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

17 S i misero cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che era all’estremità della prima serie di teli, e cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che era all’estremità della seconda serie.

And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.

18 S i fecero cinquanta fermagli di bronzo per unire insieme la tenda, in modo che formasse un tutto unico.

And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

19 S i fece pure per la tenda una coperta di pelli di montone tinte di rosso e, sopra questa, un’altra di pelli di delfino. Le assi e le loro basi

And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.

20 P oi si fecero per il tabernacolo le assi di legno di acacia, messe per diritto.

And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.

21 L a lunghezza di un’asse era di dieci cubiti, e la larghezza di un’asse, di un cubito e mezzo.

The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.

22 O gni asse aveva due incastri paralleli; così fu fatto per tutte le assi del tabernacolo.

One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 S i fecero dunque le assi per il tabernacolo: venti assi dal lato meridionale, verso il sud;

And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:

24 s i fecero quaranta basi d’argento sotto le venti assi: due basi sotto ogni asse per i suoi due incastri.

and forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.

25 P er il secondo lato del tabernacolo, il lato di nord,

And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

26 s i fecero venti assi, con le loro quaranta basi d’argento: due basi sotto ogni asse.

and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

27 P er la parte posteriore del tabernacolo, verso occidente, si fecero sei assi.

And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.

28 S i fecero pure due assi per gli angoli del tabernacolo, dalla parte posteriore.

And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.

29 Q ueste erano doppie dal basso in su, e al tempo stesso formavano un tutto fino in cima, fino al primo anello. Così fu fatto per tutte e due le assi che erano ai due angoli.

And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

30 V i erano dunque otto assi con le loro basi d’argento: sedici basi, due basi sotto ogni asse.

And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.

31 S i fecero delle traverse di legno d’acacia: cinque per le assi di un lato del tabernacolo;

And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 c inque traverse per le assi dell’altro lato del tabernacolo e cinque traverse per le assi della parte posteriore del tabernacolo, a occidente.

and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.

33 S i fecero la traversa di mezzo, in mezzo alle assi, per farla passare da una parte all’altra.

And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

34 L e assi furono rivestite d’oro e furono fatti d’oro gli anelli per i quali dovevano passare le traverse, e le traverse furono rivestite d’oro. I due veli

And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

35 F u fatto pure il velo, di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto e di lino fino ritorto con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati;

And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.

36 s i fecero per esso quattro colonne di acacia e si rivestirono d’oro; i loro ganci erano d’oro; per le colonne, si fusero quattro basi d’argento.

And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

37 S i fece anche per l’ingresso della tenda una portiera ricamata di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, e di lino fino ritorto.

And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;

38 S i fecero le sue cinque colonne con i loro ganci; si rivestirono d’oro i loro capitelli e le loro aste; le loro cinque basi erano di bronzo.

and the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.
