1 Z otit i përket toka dhe të gjitha gjërat që janë mbi të, bota dhe banorët e saj.

¶ The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.

2 S epse ai e ka themeluar mbi detet dhe e ka vendosur mbi lumenjtë.

For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

3 K ush do t’i ngjitet malit të Zotit? Kush do të qëndrojë në vendin e tij të shenjtë?

¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in the place of his holiness?

4 N jeriu i pafajshëm nga duart dhe i pastër nga zemra, që nuk e ngre shpirtin për t’u dukur dhe nuk betohet në mënyrë të rreme.

He that has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not taken my name in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.

5 A i do të marrë bekimet e Zotit dhe drejtësinë nga Perëndia e shpëtimit të tij.

He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his saving health.

6 I tillë është brezi i atyre që e kërkojnë, që kërkojnë fytyrën tënde, o Perëndi e Jakobit. (Sela)

This is the generation of those that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7 O ju porta, çoni kokat tuaja; dhe ju, porta të përjetshme, hapuni krejt dhe Mbreti i lavdisë do të hyjë.

¶ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

8 K ush është ky Mbret i lavdisë? Éshtë Zoti i fortë dhe i fuqishëm, Zoti i fortë në betejë.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9 O porta, çoni kokat tuaja; hapuni krejt, o porta të përjetshme, dhe Mbreti i lavdisë do të hyjë.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

10 K ush është ky Mbret i lavdisë? Éshtë Zoti i ushtrive; ai është Mbreti i lavdisë. (Sela)
