T hen the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, “Please notice how this man seeks mischief; for he sent to me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I didn’t deny him.”

El rey de Israel llamó a todos los ancianos del país, y les dijo: “Miren cómo éste sólo busca hacer daño; pues él envió a pedir me mis mujeres, mis hijos, mi plata y mi oro, y no se los negué.”
