H e bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver; and he built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built Samaria, after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill.

Poi comprò da Semer il monte di Samaria per due talenti d’argento; costruì su quel monte una città; e alla città che costruì diede il nome di Samaria dal nome di Semer, padrone del monte.
