T hey took Absalom and cast him into the great pit in the forest, and raised over him a very great heap of stones. Then all Israel fled, each to his own tent.

Poi presero Absalom, lo gettarono in una grande fossa nella foresta e innalzarono sopra di lui un mucchio grandissimo di pietre; e tutto Israele fuggì, ciascuno nella sua tenda.
