O mri compró a Semer el monte de Samaria por dos talentos de plata, edificó en el monte y llamó a la ciudad que había edificado Samaria, por el nombre de Semer, que fue dueño de aquel monte.

Omri bought the hill Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver. He built a city on the hill and fortified it, and called it Samaria (Shomeron), after the owner of the hill, Shemer.
