E ntonces el rey David le dijo a Ornán: «De ninguna manera. Yo te compraré la era por su precio justo. No voy a tomar para el Señor lo que es tuyo, ni voy a ofrecer ningún holocausto que nada me cueste.»

And king David said to Ornan, No; but I will in any case buy for the full money; for I will not take that which is thine for Jehovah, to offer up a burnt-offering without cost.
