E n esos días hubo una hambruna que duró tres años seguidos. David consultó al Señor por esto, y el Señor le dijo: «De esto tienen la culpa Saúl y su familia de asesinos, pues mataron a los gabaonitas.»

Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
