N os dias de Davi houve uma fome de três anos consecutivos; pelo que Davi consultou ao Senhor; e o Senhor lhe disse: E por causa de Saul e da sua casa sanguinária, porque matou os gibeonitas.

Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
