D ar Sihon, regele Heşbonului, nu ne-a lăsat să trecem, pentru că Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, i-a făcut duhul neînduplecat şi i-a împietrit inima ca să-l dea în mâinile tale, după cum vezi astăzi.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.
