E l s-a aşezat între tabăra egiptenilor şi tabăra lui Israel. Noaptea, norul era întunecos într­o parte şi luminos în cealaltă. Astfel, cele două tabere nu s-au apropiat una de cealaltă întreaga noapte.

It came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud and the darkness, yet gave it light by night: and one didn’t come near the other all night.
