P rintre urmaşii lui Elazar s-au găsit mai multe căpetenii decât printre urmaşii lui Itamar, acestea fiind împărţite astfel: şaisprezece căpetenii ale familiilor urmaşilor lui Elazar şi opt căpetenii ale familiilor urmaşilor lui Itamar.

Since there were more chief men found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they were divided thus: sixteen heads of fathers’ houses of the sons of Eleazar and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers’ houses.
