A , ki te kawea mai e nga iwi o te whenua etahi taonga, tetahi kai ranei i te ra hapati hei hoko, kia kaua e hokona ta ratou mea i te hapati, i te ra tapu ranei; a me whakarere noa iho te whitu o nga tau, kaua hoki e tohea te moni tarewa.

And if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, we shall not buy it on the Sabbath or on a holy day; and we shall forego raising crops the seventh year and the compulsory payment of every debt.
